The payout doesn't bother me. I just wish they would have have applied it to the duty finder, such as the leveling duty and such, instead of just specific dungeons.

This event is pretty pathetic. The fact that the only new item is a stat-less glamour earring that's 2x the price of the next most expensive item is pretty telling.
I'm looking forward to ShB and Make It Rain, but spamming 6 year old content (some of the worst, most dates content in the game) isn't worth my time.
The point of this campaign is to entice experienced players into doing the worst dungeons in the game to help the thousands and thousands of WOW expats and twitch first-timers and returners get through them without having to wait in eternal queues and wipe repeatedly.
The main problem with it is the most important and logjammed content, the dungeons, are worth only one mogtome each, while the much more tolerable raids are worth two.
It defeats the purpose of luring players into terrible content if there's an option to do better content for bigger rewards.
Whether they up the mogtomes per duty, or lower the reward costs, I don't know. What I do know is that the raids and the dungeons should be the same reward.
If you want to get players through the selected dungeons, you should offer an additional, bonus mogtome for each duty, the first time a player clears it, once per day. This will force efficient grinders to go through and do every dungeon, thus getting many more new players through the dungeons than the current system.
You should also put in a mogtome roulette that only loads event dungeons, and gives +2 mogtomes for clearing it.
Honestly the only interesting thing from the list for me are the mount speed scrolls, only cus I hate hunts and the amount of seals needed per scroll, no thanks on hard core hunting for em. The earrings, I mean yeah cute but will you ever really notice them on someone or yourself outside the initial "ooo, ahh"?

There are very few items you really need to get from this event...
3 of the cards we didn't have so we just went and got them vs spend points on them.
It took about 20 mins after we did our DR Alliance and MSQ
Take the Odin set of gear. I have none of it. But I found I have 26 items needed to get it and the full set costs 15.
We made a google sheets doc to track what we need and what we got.
We only need about 200 in total.
Also, Don't worry about people who already got the earing.
They like the grind.
The only items are really hard to get.
The earring.
The one mount diadem
The one minion diadem
You want the riding maps. There are other ways.
You want the cards there are other ways.
You want the beast tribe mounts there are other ways.
Diadem is dead mount and minions are near imposable to get that way.
Earring exclusive to this event.
Also, this is likely to go over well in the end. And inturn most of these items will return at the end of 5 just before 6.
Fully agree on the fact that it's not engaging but Castrum is actually worth :). It takes about 30-35 min for 3 tomestones, which is better than doing the other ARR dungeons that takes more than 12-18 min for only 1 tomestone. When multiplying the latter by 3 (to get the same amount of tomes as for one Castrum run) it takes more time overall and they are more boring because you have less skills.
