I'm of the opinion that if you are sick enough or miserable enough for it to effect your gameplay that much then you shouldn't be playing at all. If you decide to ignore it and continue anyway, the "I'm not feeling well" card can hardly be used to beat off criticism if you're playing like road-kill when it is you putting yourself in that position to begin with.Quote:
3. Are they having a bad day or are they feeling sick?
This is something you do on your own time, not other people's. On those (extremely rare) occasions I rearrange my keybinds or abilities, I certainly don't wade immediately into max-level content without adapting to them first. That in itself is being bad, as well as being an ass.Quote:
2. Did they recently change their UI/Binds or both?
There is nothing wrong with being new. However, the "I'm new" card only goes so far. If you're pre max-level content then it should be expected that various people in the group is likely still levelling or grinding. However, if you're entering EXPERT roulette dungeons or the present tier of normal raids, it is expected by this point that you at least have half an idea of what you're doing - all that is left is to learn mechanics and/or bring your gear up to speed. If you are entering extremes or savages then god help you if you aren't even knowledgeable of your class, never mind the content.Quote:
