I like meeting new people, I just don't want to leave behind many of the people I have already met because I quite like playing on a server with them. I guess there is nothing I can say to make you understand that some of us enjoy our current communities.

I know one thing, if I lose my friends that are not playing currently because SE forced them to pay when they clearly shouldn't of had to yet since the content flow was/is not good enough yet, I will be furious. This just proves further that Naoki Yoshida is as out of touch with the community as anyone ever associated with this game.

I understand it fully. That doesn't change your situation, however, and it doesn't convince me that the world of Eorzea wouldn't keep on turning if they went with their current idea.

You could turn this out in a positive way and see the opportunity to make new friends.

If this is ruining your game experience, I'm glad you never had to move while you were young, that would have ruined your life. At least you have your linkshell friends.

Did anyone stop to think that maybe the 2.0 client is done and a world server merge is a easier way for them to port all the data to the new client and servers? Maybe just maybe these are going to be the 2.0 server worlds with different more traditional names?

I do feel the pain of possibly losing friends however, didnt we all lose friends when we decided to play ffxiv while all our ps3 only friends decided to stay with ffxi?

I suggest getting with all your friends and ls and asking what server they will choose and do your best to keep everyone together.
