turbo controllers the new bot crafting?

The problem is though, under those grounds they cant really punish you because IT IS possible to keep manually pressing a button with the window minimised, therefor theres no proof to say you weren't doing that.

but thats where you are wrong

you are doing actions, therefore if you are there, you can respond....

if you are not responding, a program or something other then you is probably running the game, and they CAN and WILL ban you for it
and they have every right to do so, its in the TOS, you know, those things you already agreed to

so there is no discussion about wether or not you can get banned, because you can, thats all there is to it, and there is no defense for it

Not going to lie... and maybe... JUST MAYBE I'm wrong... but I'm sensing some major irony here... You've had all 50's since like what? Aug, Sep? and a ton of 50 crafts before then. According to your little lodestone it seems you skipped out on a lot of job traits and bought a lot of stuff all at once... A lot of those 50's were during fatigue era too... You'd have to be unemployed and even then... have quuuuuuiiiiiteee a bit of free time and almost unhuman dedication to get all dem 50's.

im 100% legit, dont worry about that, my friends can all verify it with how annoying i was in linkshell chat about it at all hours of the night when i was on lol(no social life, have a kid, so cant get out alot)

so yes, 8 hours a day easily, took me a bit over a year to get all 50s, thats not unreasonable, if i were botting, i woulda easily had it half a year earlier if not even quicker then that

and anyone who ever walked up to me and spoke to see if i was there, your damn right i responded(except for a few specific people i hate)

You are wrong Gospel. I can vouch for Vedis, he is 100% legit. We all talk to him in Vent while he is crafting as well as in LS chat. Stop accusing him of botting.

Alrighty, then. I'll take your word for it. Again, wasn't trying to bash. Just find it a tad hard to take someone's advice in a thread about robits, especially when they got all 50's without being a suspicious nancy. Carry on~

lol, it annoys me knowing people got it cheating when i didnt, honestly, the all 50 thing doesnt mean as much as it did 6 months into the game, at this point its really hard to judge based on levels, but you can judge based on speed of how some things get done

but thats not really the issue at hand for the most part, the issue is botting in general and what is botting

and the simple answer is "any program which plays the game for you, and any device which plays the game without you having to be at your keyboard/computer"

so basicaly, if they suspect the above, you are pretty much screwed if they confirm it(by confirm its as easy as a tell, and you not responding, and im not talking about 1 tell...im talking about them trying to contact you for lets say an hour...over and over...with no response, you cant tell me you wouldnt ban that type of person too, there is no excuse for that

If they're allowing the FFXIV name on that then that means it's perfectly fine to mute the game, minimize it, and turbo-craft in the background. And seeing how that's effectively the same as AFK turbo-crafting, that must be fine too.

This one's on SE, not the players. People need to get off their backs for not playing the game after the same tedious manner. Mayhap this is "working as intended."

you cant make that an excuse for botting, it still doesnt fly


i dont think you understand whats going on

it is ok to use a turbo control

BUT

it is not ok to leave it on while afk

there is a big difference that seperates the 2 and people cant justify botting by stating "se lets us do it"

in the end, the terms of service flat out say you cant do it, and thats the bottom line

A Dev response on this matter would be nice :-)
