It just showed me that the internet is a home to many many creepy and strange people, and that you shouldn't trust almost anyone on it. Same goes for RL, tbh.

Creepiest thing that ever happened to me was back before SB I had a Miqo whisper me while running around outside our FC house in the Goblet, they whispered me and said my toon looked really cute n what not then asked what settings I used. Didn't have an issue with that at all, told em which face, skin tone etc, the next day I log in and she's in our FC house and looks exactly like my toon, they say "hello twinsie!".
That was probably the creepiest thing that ever happened to me like a god damn shape shifter I tell you, they weren't even part of the FC or anything I didn't log back in for a couple of days. -

I fantasia'd into a female Lalafell who strongly resembled my original male Lalafell counterpart, and someone I'd spent about an hour or so chatting with gave me his real life name, phone #, and told me where he lived.
I fantasia'd back quickly.
*Edit* Entering the Weeping City of Mach, losing connection 30 seconds in, and being unable to log back into FFXIV. The launcher and the website seem broken; I'm lucky to be here posting this edit. The creepy part is it seems to be only affecting me. -
