but seriously if it takes you a week to lvl a job, you are doing it wrong. you can get PLed to 30+ in a few hours and 40-50 is 3-4 hours in natalan while coffer farming with a good party. If its taking you a week, get a better linkshell

Actually...if you HAVE to be power leveled to get 30+ then you're doing something wrong. Non-power leveled players are much better at their roles and have a better comprehension of the game and the concept of teamwork.

as for the OP: Just level CNJ...seriously, it won't take long since every group needs a healer.

Take a close look, people. This is what the new gaming generation is. Prime example.

We'll never see a worthwhile MMO again.

It is common knowledge that in MMOs your class could get nerfed/changed drastically over the course of the game's life. That's not even considering the fact that THIS game is getting a complete overhaul. You were warned that this game could change drastically, the devs owe you nothing.

If I don't have any other option, then sure, I guess I'll level CNJ. But I'd prefer to have the time I've invested in leveling up a healing job preserved. So that's the request I'm making.


Um, no. In the new paradigm, why would any healer level THM? It would be a waste of time.

Again, that's the point. The 50 levels of THM I've already invested won't even help me as a healer if I do level up CNJ.


The point is, there was no way to know which direction SE would go with a class that has both Cure and Flare. Acting as if it was obvious that CNJ could never be BLM is silly.

I am a CON/THM main, and I am SO excited to have a REAL specialization on my classes. My THM action bar and my CON action bar have looked so similar for so long that some definition is sounding better and better as the days go by.

If you want to be a healer just level CON its easy to level a class now.
