The Golden Saucer - Can it ever be relevant and fun?

for me, the gold saucer needs more rewards, i would of expected new mounts to be added by now. i literally have everything in the gold saucer with mgp to spare

Give us a FF7-style battle arena where we can fight various mobs and NPCs from around the game world.

Or hell, give us an Arcade Machine where we can play the literal FF7 battle arena, full turn based and everything with upgraded graphics.

While you are at it change LoV from a moba-esqe game to something more single player. Perhaps giving the minions a special skill bar and its setup so that you go ascend up a tower fighting various mobs piloting your minion instead of your normal character.

LoV failed at least on EU (guess NA too) , dunno how popular is in JP servers....but so far has been a waste of dev sources ....

Lord of Verminion is meh...but chocobo racing is fun imo, they should make two separate queues there, one to queue against NPCs only and one to queue against at least one player + NPCs. In order for that to work however, queue should be global among all servers, which isn't atm, and I don't understand why <.<, you can only race with people of your server. Some sort of tournament would be nice too, lately I'm seeing a lot of people in chocobo racing so maybe they could pull it off without screwing up again like with TT :P.

They've already said in one of the previous live letters I think, that they were building a cross server lobby for Saucer games like Choco racing so people from different servers(but still in the same Data Center, no bypassing that) can play together. They were building it using the raid finder as a base so now that this is gonna be implemented it shouldn't be that long before we get this, maybe a patch or two after 3.3(timeframe is speculation on my part)

The panda is exclusive to the Chinese version. It was originally given out to the Chinese players because the Golden Saucer was not being released on the Chinese servers.

JP people only do it for challenge log as what I see.

For rewards from Gold Saucer, they need to expand more like give more equipment and outfit (fair gender outfit of course). But first priority is making bunny ears unisex!
