That would be interesting if they made the new HW jobs have HW primals, but it doesn't fit with the armor per role vs armor per job. Thordan DRK, Bismarck AST, Ravana MCH?

Hmm, I didn't even think about Thordan being in the mix. I'm not we'll see them use the new HW primals for these sets, though, as the ARR primals cover the normal number of armor sets we get. I'd much prefer a Thordan or Bismarck-themed set to a King Mog one, though.

This is what i think for all the armors set :

Paladin --> Ultima (Gaius)
Guerrier --> Alexander
Dark Knight --> Thordan

White Mage --> Phoenix
Scholar --> Mog
Astromancian --> Bismarck

Dragoon --> Garuda
Monk --> Ifrit
Ninja --> Ramuh
Bard --> Leviathan
Machinist --> Ravana
Black Mage --> Shiva
Summoner --> Bahamut

Not a bad prediction. Though, it has been confirmed Leviathan is Ninja not Bard.

Yeah i think it will be something like that for "job specific".

They'll be role specific. Last tome set was Job specific because it was AF gear. This is just Primal themed/inspired gear, so it will be role specific, like all the previous tome sets (outside of Myth) were.

Didn't you say in your last post that your theory is one of Ramuh or Mog will be for WHM, because WHM started in Gridania?

Mog makes the most sense for healers because he's the only Primal/Primal-like-construct-thing that heals during his fight, mainly his subordinates. This reflects healer's relationship with the rest of the party very well, King and subordinates. :-D
Tanks will get Titan as punishment for thinking they are the king. :-D
And Ranged will get Ramuh because they need beards. :-D

MNKs got Ifrit because they are hotheads, DRGs got Garuda because they are on the floor all the time, so the only place they can go is up, NINs got Leviathan because they are all slimeballs who don't use Goad enough, and Casters got Shiva because SE thinks they're all ice-princess for not talking during parties but their actually just bots. :-D

Well, it's conjurer more specifically, going by that theory, I think.

The role-specific gear is normally themed for/after the base classes, rather than the actual Jobs. I'd imagine healer's set will most likely be one of the two Gridania primals because ACN goes on caster gear rather than SCH gear, and AST doesn't have a base class that it's associated with. The Titan set would then be Limsa via Marauder.

The only odd one out is ACN/THM in terms of the base class's city state matching the primal (but Ishgard also doesn't have any base classes, so Shiva was going to be an odd one out either way, I suppose).
