Loot Table in in the new Expert is horrible

I'm hoping they'll change the loot tables in the next major patch, but that also means we'll have to run these dungeons still after we get new ones to complete glamours for off classes and so forth.. ~_~ *sigh*

I can't even contemplate running the level 60 roulette... I still have war flashbacks from running neverreap every day for 4 months straight. ( >_> only having 2 dungeons was one of the biggest mistakes in these updates for casual and hardcore players IMO. Everyone runs roulettes. So we all get to suffer together \o/ yay )

But yeah my hope lies in the fact they have changed loot tables in dungeons before after we get new ones. sooo MAYBE.. If were lucky

That's a terrible response to a reasonable topic. It's not asking much for loot chests to contain 2 items instead of 1, like their predecessors.

...that makes no sense. "You likely have better gear than what's available, so here's only one piece since it won't be of any use to you anyway!" ???? I question the logic behind the dev team. Because the FFXIV dev team is afraid to break out of the mold of MMOs and actually give us something substantial that we enjoy doing outside of grinding the same 2 dungeons every day. Even if you go to Diadem you're still grinding. It's the nature of the MMO, especially Japanese MMOs. :/

Yes, because at the rate that technology develops in real life, by the time most devices are made to the general public, something is already developed that surpasses the aforementioned device. Ha ha ha ha ha!! You win the +1000 internets for using "Yoshido" from that other thread!!!! Also, one piece of gear dropping from the boss chest at the end of the dungeon is unacceptable. I've run PS HM and SMA so many times hoping , and praying, for a Brd chest piece to drop and the only chest pieces I've seen are Mnk and Nin. 9 times out of 10 if not more it's always pants that drop from the last chest. Even though it takes a while to save up Esos, it seems I'd be more likely to be able to get the Eso Chest for Brd, or even the Void Ark Chest, before I'll see the Brd Chest drop. It's very discouraging. I think that if the number of pieces that drop from the last chest was increased to 2 it would really ease the difficulty of people acquiring the gear that they are after since it would increase the chances for the piece we're after to drop.

It's not like the gear from PS HM and SMA are BiS. They're just pieces to get us by until we can get our Void Ark, Alexander, or Diadem pieces. I feel that SE should definitely increase the number of drops to, at the very least, 2 pieces of gear from the last chests for PS HM and SMA. I also feel that they should uncap Esos and let us acquire as many as we'd like each week. With 13 DoW/DoM jobs, and with people having had all of those at level 50, since 1.0, or before Heavensward was released, it would be very helpful to allow people the ability to gear multiple jobs rather than causing us to have to focus on 1 job for 1-2 months before we can move on to leveling and gearing another job without feeling like we're neglecting to put in the effort to properly gear the job we are currently working on. For example, I'm currently working on Brd, however if I could gear Brd faster I could move on to leveling and then gearing Nin, but I feel that if I take the time to play as Nin I'm wasting time that I could be using to gear Brd while the current gear and dungeons are still relevant.

Does anyone else feel that Esos should be uncapped?

Esos will eventually be uncapped (the 450 weekly cap), as is the regular method of tomes in FF. Progression in this game is very linear and predictable. They introduced law gear, then prototype, then eso. Now they have removed the need for your alts to require law gear and go straight to 185 dungeon drops. You can also gear a secondary class with 200 gear from VA and upgrade your main's eso to 210.
Soon, we will be able to buy mats with law, they will remove the weekly cap, and the one drop limit will be removed from VA as they begin to introduce a new tome. Rinse and repeat.

On topic, I honestly haven't fretted over the one item per chest in the experts as they're just for glamour or lazy alt gearing (on my part).
