Faust requires 6300 dps to kill. Thor requires about 7200 for 75% and 8100 for 69%. (75% is the ideal for a smooth kill assuming you keep doing your best while doing mechanisms).Quote:

Why do people think that when someone is doing very low dps that telling them they should go (when / if implemented for all) use the parser to improve their rotation to, I don't know, actually learn how to correctly play the job? Its not a judgment. Its helping the person out. I'm just baffled by what the problem is here.

I've had runs where we've hit 69% and skipped the tank buster, and some where I've screwed up entirely and dropped Enoch and we still were like 72% at worst. So I've no idea where 75% comes from. Either way, you haven't really appeared to understand the point of my post, which was that in that particular run, DPS was truly terrible, and with no parser, I have no idea who was practically afk'ing.

I still don't get it, whether the people are nice or mean about it the end result is the same, the subject finds out 1. My DPS can improve and 2. I have a way to test out what I am doing wrong and fix it. Its the same way in real life at a job, if your not doing it right your going to get fired. They could do it mean or nicely, but at least in the game you get a chance to fix what your doing wrong and come back with the correct solution. So I still don't see your point.

last I checked everyone has equal access to creating a party in the PF, if you are removed from one create your own. If you are being removed from Duty Finder parties for your performance on a consistent enough basis that you are unable to complete content it's probably a sign that there is something wrong with your playstyle in which case i would hope you would improve to the benefit of both yourself and future parties.
In fact all of the above scenarios are already possible and currently do happen to tanks and healers.
And all of this really only applies to endgame content, nobody cares about sub par DPS in like 98% of the content in the game. Even if many players are aware of it they're likely to speak up about it in content that matters and only if that player's performance is a detriment to the progression of the 7 other people in the party.
In which case it's no different than calling attention to a tank or a healer who is unable to perform.
