Astro needs a Nerf in PVP

Exactly, just like I said on page 1, I've personally burst a Ast down solo on my MCH by timing my stun, knockback, and Silence shots properly in my rotation(they're all OGCD). People just need better strats then "Enemy Sighted! I'll Spam my range attack till I close in and use my PvE opener to take them out!" smh

Yay for ranged characters then. Any tips for melees besides busting out an LB? Cause the more I play in PvP the more I feel gimmped for picking melee DPS, but that's a whole other topic.

And maybe give someone a MIND debuff like we have some INT ones.

If you've 1v1ing AST randomly outside of heated battles, you'll have no chance (unless you're WAR and you get really lucky with a crit Fell Cleaved beserk with Full Swing up) so don't even bother wasting your cooldowns but when both alliances are fighting, it's very easy for an AST to let their guard down, maybe it's them looking at their party list because someone is dying or they gave an instant heal to another team member. Use marks accordingly, I hardly see anyone use marks to focus down targets but once you mark someone, more likely than not, people will focus and that person will be killed.

This^^ from my experience, the only time 1vs1 is really optimal is dps vs dps, especially a melee on a caster, or a caster with some range on a melee, this is a party based mode and you should be working with your team. Outside of this, learn your "Burst" rotation, the time it takes to complete, and how long before all your CDs are up again so you know off hand how often you have the opportunity and when to use it( Dummy's come in handy here to help you do it instinctively instead of reactively) learn what your CC abilities can affect and their icons, and have an understanding of what other classes CC icons look like( so youre not building resists/ wasting CDs on nothing) practice makes perfect; if you only pvp on one class by the time you hit rank 25-30 you should have a good grasp as to what youre capable of.

Zeonx you need a Warrior! in your team i kill strologians solo, but you must to be fast, with double fell clave with berseker and inner beast, jeweling as give det +critical hit rate and use stune and some pvp skills (damage over time, etc) and in less of a second you given 10/15k even 20 like me one time, when you can hit 7k or 8k of one hit and doing a double hit with it, and take care to hit exactly when astro don't expected (like followin a dps with low life and surpriseeeeee turn to him and kill!) no one of them can resist the instantly enormous quantity of damage deal (greater than melee lb)

Or just pick Astro yourself and laugh.

It's hard as heck to LEARN pvp because of how fast it is and how small you are. Unless you're playing a class that CAN visibly cause an effect/result(Warrior, Summoner, Astro, Black Mage, hell Dragoon with spine shatter LB). Maybe back when it was smaller and more....personal I guess but now it's get in, zerg when possible, win/lose, repeat.

But this is more complaints about PVP in general than just Astro.

I dunno, I find I live far more as a sch, than when I play ast in pvp. Them lustrates. (But maybe that's because I have more experience as sch).
I have found that an astro and a sch healer healing together is pretty OP though. :D The astro has the fast single target shields, and the sch has the fast aoe shields. (Honestly, the astro aoe shield is so slooooooow, unless you use the speed buff ability, but when that's on CD, you are pretty much screwed)
I also tend to do more overall healing than the astros too. *shrugs*

The difference between SCH and AST is that SCH is limited by their Lustrates. You'll die eventually because you blow through all 9 Lustrates and then have nothing to burn. AST(btw Lightspeed does nothing for Aspected Benefic), has their Instant Shields which can be applied instantly and a crit shield does wonders in PVP. If they get low? ED. Still being tailed? Celestial Opposition. They have more tools to work with than SCH and WHM for -KITING- purposes. As a healer, they're kinda meh in PVP.

It does something for aspected helios though. The aoe heal.
