I sympathise - I had to quit EU Aion when I moved back east, despite loving the PvP, purely because of the latency and packet loss back to Germany. But that's not really the point, is it? At some point you would have had to run those instances to clear them, (and find out that you had these problems.) And during that run, you would have presented exactly the kind of issue that drives a lot of people to quit problematic instances, like the Vale.
Essentially, during that clear run, you've forced the other guys to put up with the situation, regardless of the time cost it carries for them. That's not your fault, and not something you've done to be malicious, but that's still how it is. A lot of the people going into instances like Vale for the first time won't be going in again, (just like you,) because they're going to have a horrid experience, and because it's not worth using it for levelling. It's still a pain in the butt for the people stuck with them during their clear run, (who are in a hurry, and have limited time each evening to jump through the hoops Square are forcing them to jump through.)
That's pretty much how the levelling Roulette goes in general, is it not? Props to you for doing the right thing, since, but someone still had to put up with it with you, the first time?
