Darkside Aura .. hurts my eyes. Can't turn it off.

It looks really dumb as it is. My Drk is a male highlander and it looks like I could fit 2-3 other highlanders into my Aura

Something like this would look appropriate and well just simply a lot better(tuned to ff's graphics). I like how it looks like it's coming off the character and it doesn't take up a gigantic amount of room. It looks like something with dark power, not some random club strobe light man.

Came across a DRK with the aura on shortly after reading this thread. Out of curiosity, I switched to WAR and popped Infuriate to compare the two. The result was this:

Yes, the WAR aura is brighter and more visible, but it's also more compact. It also automatically turns off after half a minute or less (depending on what you do), whereas the DRK aura can go on pretty much indefinitely.

If the DRK aura had been time-limited, or set to "show only during combat", that'd be fine with me. But a (semi-)permanent aura like that? It's... a bit like the magitek mount cannon or the behemoth mount. One by one, they're okay, but get too many in the same place and it's just headache-inducing XD

Almost made my own thread until my friend found this one, it needs to go, its an eyesore and it looks tacky.

I don't think it needs to go entirely, just make it smaller that's all!
OR other Dark Knights (sich as you'rs trully) could be more considerate and turn it off on fully populated areas!

I'm not terrible concerned about the red-glowy effect itself, however the one move that covers the floor with black and red and is super-loud I find too obnoxious... and people were doing this on day 1 all over the place. It's nearly heal-spam obnoxious.

I'm Curious, the Job Action Video showed that the Dark Knight had a Shadow Force beneth them, is that a diffrent skill or something? if Not using that Animation for Darkside wouldn't be as bad either

Easily remedy by lowering the sounds levels in the options. There is no reason to have everything at 100%. Only thing I keep at 100% is BGM with voices at 80%. Everything else ranges from 30% to 50%.
