Issue When Trying to Assemble 2nd Airship.

Island Discovery is very RNG but a lot believe boosting Surveillance stat helps. Personally it took until rank17 for my FC to find island #5. We Rank 20 atm and have yet to find 6.

You need to visit specific areas to unlock other ones. My guess is you often take the same route?

8 Seems to be unlocked by hitting rank 20. Might require visiting areas 1-7 first.
Note: Sector 8 wont show up in the voyage log as being discovered.

Rank 25 and unlocked 2nd airship after exploring sector 8 for the first time. Enterprise hull and forecastle, invincible for the other 2.

At Rank 22 we discovered Sector 6th with Path 5 > 1 > 2

Area scouted is definitely close to area where 6th island was. Perhaps taking a picture of all island location for people with 8+ island may be helpful to some people to figure what islands to focus on ?

Have discovered sectors 1 thru 10 at rank 21 airship.

I think it's more to do with proximity with the new sector, and maybe surveilance rating. Try exploring sectors that are at the edges of unexplored areas of the map and you should be able to find new sectors.

Yes, you can.

My airship hit rank 29 today, still haven't unlocked 2nd slot. Its mostly upgraded to the highest parts it can equip. anyone else have this issue?

2nd Airship defintely involved with Island 8. Do you have the islands unlocked ? Have you traveled to it a few times already ?

Enterprise Hull, Enterprise Forecastle, Invincible Aftcastle, Bronco Bladder
Sectors 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 unlocked
Sent on a Voyage to Sectors 5, 7, 8, 6 (In that order. First time visiting Sector 8.)


Returned this morning:
- Ranked up to 23
- Got Red Clay from Sector 7
- Got Balsa Wood Lumber from Sector 8
- Sectors 9 and 11 were unlocked (Sector 10 is not on my list yet.)
- Second Airship was unlocked

Hi we unlocked our 2nd airship with completing the sector that is level 20 missions. We unlocked our 3rd airship with completing the level 40 mission sector. I imagine the 4th airship will unlock from the 60th level mission sector. Note this is not sector #20, 40, or 60.

We have yet to explore sector 10. We have a ship there right now. People report it drops black clay. We received the athero-chemical pieces for the last prototype from Sector 14 a few days ago.

I believe it is RNG for unlocking new islands. But I feel if you have an island on the map by sector 7 that needs to be unlocked and your searching sector 2 across the map, its less likely to unlock the sector 7 missing island. But this is just my guess. IDK.
