Chocobo Trailer!

I didn't mind have to raise and work for it. I just didn't like that it took 30 days... To me that was just a bit too long and a huge gil sink if you were really working for that super chocobo or that specific color you wanted. I did 2 and was broke and stopped trying after that XD... still have like 2-3 eggs sitting waiting to be hatched....

Why hasn't this been published on the main Lodestone page?

Boo..! I was hoping hey would run up to you not just appear, but guess that was hoping for a lot really.

I'd like to see the system added in the coming months (maybe along with PS3) to get alternative colours/ or ones with ability's, but making the basic one just quests/marks based so people can chose to bother or not.

I think people are remembering the Chocobo animation in FFXI with rose tinted classes. Don't you remember the black screen and then popping up onto Choco back after using whistle?

SE are capable of making a 'running towards you animation' plus a cool 'mounting animation' even while running, but it looks like Yoshi-P made the decision to have insta-pop-mount-to-please-the-silver-spoon-fed-care-bare-hand-holding-WoW-spoiled-"takes too long to mount"-cry-babies. Yea, that's right, you know who you are!

We have also yet to see the dismount animation.

They've already stated that some forms of customization are coming. They said we'd be able to customize our personal chocobo's armor in 1.20 or 1.21, forgot which.

GEEZ, look at that Lalafell getting tossed around!

Would rather have choco's now without a "mount/saddle up" animation rather then having choco's pushed back altogether (Personal choco's weren't even suppose to come same patch as rentals if you remember from the initial plannings, that's a bonus in itself)! It's the same thing with other issues and items that have been released like being able to switch to passive/active now while running. Remember, if they try to do everything at once, they won't get anything done or released (Yoshi's words)! Hope they keep releasing stuff in stages like this :D
