Do Au Ra's even kiss?

Well if you think about it "Eskimo kisses" (where you rub your noses together) became a thing because in colder regions your lips COULD in fact freeze together (much like sticking your tongue to a really cold telephone pole). So depending on where you live regular humans without horns face similar challenges with affection and mating. The only female that would have trouble doing any form of "kissing" would definitely be face 4 as of right now.

Maybe for them they kiss the tip of their index finger then touch the finger to their partner's lips? :) I've seen people do that to be cutesy, it could work here.

Au Ra have really pointy tongues. When they want to show affection, they poke each others tips with their tongues repeatedly.

There isn't a hairstyle where you can see where human-like ears would be on a Miqo'te. The assumption is nothing is there. The glasses' stems could reach all the way around like a band. Thanks to the hairstyles you cannot confirm this, but it's makes the most logical sense since they're clearly not altered for the Miqo'te ears.

Why do they have to kiss?

Im more leaning towards "compatible horn" thing. When you meet someone who has horns that "compatible" with you, you know he's the one. About the height difference, well, it will work out.

What if the horns articulate slightly so that for face to face acts such as kissing, the horns retract just enough from the face, and thenwhen in battle, the same articulation could reversebrining the horns forward and locking them? The position we see in the character creator may be the 'idle' position.

The arms of glasses could also have small hair combs onthe ends to allow them to 'clip' to the side of their head.

They don't kiss and they lay eggs. Oh, and my sunglasses are the wonders of magitek.
