What do we do now?

My sub is also running out April 11 and not going to renew at this point. I haven't even done any of the 2.55 storyline as I just hit a wall with wanting to play the game right now...

I plan to get my crafting classes to 50, after much procrastination.
Also, stockpiling gil seems like a good idea. You can never have too much money.

My goals are as follows:

Get all classes to 50 (only 4 DoW to go!) with at least the base relic weapon.
Completely upgrade my SCH Relic.
Get at least one crafting class to 4 star quality.

I'd love to add 'complete Coil and EX Primals', but my available play time is too erratic to be able to get together reliably in order to do that with any realistic chance.

Once I clear T13, which hopefully will be in the following reset week, I'll likely unsub until the month of june.

There are lots of things to do, from my point of view.

Now there is the possibility of getting the Encrypted Tomestone with the weekly quest. 3 weeks worth of poetics tomes, an encrypted tomestone and a carbontwine, and you have a weapon for an alt class. If you have several classes to gear up, this will take many weeks.

The main job may be well geared, now you have time to gear up the other jobs. Poetics gear and WoD gear.

I have the beast tribes in very initial stages, except the Ixali. We'll have plenty of time to work on the crafting and gathering classes too.

Hildibrand and Mog Mail new quests too, and chocobo breeding for the races too are undone for me.

I suppose some more things will happen from this moment till June. The weekly loot limit in Final Coil may be lifted, so the possibility to farm gear for people who do the high end-game content will appear.

If i stopped playing/refused to gear or work on anything because it was about to become obsolete, i wouldn't actually play the game at all.

Upgrades happen, new gear happens. Perhaps SE haven't got the greatest character development model here, but that's by the by. Enjoy your game, worry about the upgrades when they're actually there(here?)

I'll be continuing to work toward Lucis gear, working on some FCOB and leveling up my alt in preparation for Machinist.

I'm trying to get my last 3 DoW jobs to 50 (DRG is at 47, almost there!) and get the four jobs I play regularly at least to iLvl 120 before the expansion drops. Easier said than done, of course, since poetics are a precious commodity and I don't run the later coils.

I'm also settling into a relic quest, finally. That'll easily occupy the next three months.
