those 6 crystals aren't the echo though. They are aetheric vessels to.... dunno, the primals essence ? Their part ended after Ultima in the Praetorium so I don't know if they may contain aether from leviathan, Ramuh, King Moggle Mog or Shiva. Maybe releasing them all at once is part of a ritual of some sort... unleashing Zodiark maybe ? We'll know soon enough I guess

Maybe it's the opposite? Maybe we're giving up their power to infuse Hydaelyn with more so her power cancels out Zodiark's for a while? Maybe that's also why we need the staff, to help with more power from one of the most powerful figures in Eorzea.

Not the mystery trial and not an Ex. So saying it's full power just feels insulting to what he could be.

Are you kidding? The Chrysalis is harder than some of the EX trials we have.
