Small House 20 item limit for Outdoors?!?!?

Case in point. Why even bother writing a message like this? It's low effort and adds ZERO value to the conversation. You're not being creative if you just put some big ass eye sore up on your lawn to fill up the space so just stop. If you're only going to copy/paste what other people have already said and don't have anything of any real value to add, just don't bother.

And imo... the M and L plots were flawed by design... like, give us some space around the house, left and right, just the same as on S houses. I know its too late and they wont change it, but stil... that large spot on L's is kinda.... you actually have a harder time as on S houses >:>

The servers lol.... if its 20x a stone or 20x the most complicated decoration ingame doesnt matter, they just save item #52455725727 on plot AB, X/Y/Z + rotation. while its sure a lot of data if all plots x 50-60 items, they should still be ok. you cant tell me its possible to LITERALLY flood the lavender beds with flowers, but i cant place 5 patches of em on my ground.

Wouldn't it be awesome if you could put a small house on a medium or large plot? I don't need a large house, but I would love to have a front and back yard. As for the servers, there are loads of topics on the matter. The general consensus seems to read like the following:

"I wish I could answer positively but it becomes clearer with every patch that the current servers & clients just aren't capable of doing much better than they are already. The cracks are showing & the development team have mentioned that past decisions made in haste are coming back to haunt them." - a reddit user

Oh well ... I guess I'll just have to "get more creative". lol

Unfortunately, currently only "area" fences can be used within that same area. Mist gets: Riviera Fence, Riviera Stone Wall, Riviera Picket Wall, and Riviera Roofed Wall. You should be able to find some information here, although it seems like most of the actual pictures they have are for glade fences.

Well even if I repeat what Gwyn already said... yea unfortunately you can only use the Riviera styled fences.
But I found out that I can use the Awnings from Oasis and Riviera in the Lavernder Beds o_O So I really think SE should make that possible. But I find some fences for the Mist also very very nice. :) I hope you find one, that you like.

100%. Restrictions were stupid from the beginning, and have become even more so as we add housing skins to the table that are allowed to be used in any area - but several of which are already "area" themed, like the Shirogane castle walls and the odder otter house. It makes sense to allow all styles from a lore point of view, too, since every single "housing area access" quest has the same plot: "Local area wishes to stimulate economy, invites adventurers from other areas to live there. Locals need not apply." And... adventurers aren't going to want to build houses that remind them of their homes or places they've been? That makes no sense.

Finding that some awnings were missed under the area locks makes it even sillier. Just do the thing already, SE.

I need more outside storage space! I love changing my garden to match the seasons and events, but man that's a lot of stuff!
