I can see her turning more into a "Godfather" type figure XD.

Honestly, Rowena evolved with XIV. Going from unspoken Ul'dahn townie to in-demand quest giver. Now she's a business leader in Toll. Her attire has reflected these changes. I don't see her getting skimpier at all, that's a look for an NPC that demands attention and she's got NPCs for that.
Immediately thought of Fish Moony when you said that lol.

A "movement" that has no idea what it is angry about, but really hates women basically. So anyone who dislikes a woman is automatically called a GamerGate follower, while anyone who defends a woman is immediately a crazy feminist who has no idea what she is talking about, and only the people caught in the middle actually suffer.
It sucks.
But on topic. I'm not really sure what Rowena has worn in the past. I like designs that look "flowy" though (for lack of a better word). So maybe something loose or baggy? Skirts, dresses, and the like, some robes, OH and the shirts the pirates in Limsa Lominsa wear. Things like that.
*yawn*
Naturally, anyone who doesn't bow to each and every criticism levied by any aggrieved party walking down the street "hates".
Tripe like that is why the backlash was as bad as it was, and will continue to invite withering scorn and summary dismissal.
Was not particularly aware it was a movement, either; rather, it seems to be something of an admission that everyone in the media has an angle, and there are precious few, if indeed there are any, unbiased media sources.
So yeah, that's hate, I guess. Laughable.
I didn't want to reply because I didn't want to start crap. But I'm tired of letting people excuse terrible behavior.
Yes, it is based on hate, with the idea that the media has an angle as an excuse. I have no love for Zoe Quinn or Anita, but you cannot deny that at this point the driving force behind GamerGate is hatred. Doxxing, death threats, and actively only targeting women and men who support women? That's hate.
No one disagrees that the media has an angle or agenda. Of course it does, everything does, so why does there need to be some movement behind it? Because a bunch of angry people want an excuse to be horrible people.
i find it ironic that this thread evolved from an argument about the word slutty to mentioning gamergate.
which is also ironic because there was an NPR interview at around 8-9 EST about gamergate. found it very interesting.
Though i find their goal quite admirable (i for one would like to see more unbiased game journalism), its kinda sad what its devolved into. death threats and pulling the terrorism card is not going to work out too well.
you have to remember that gamergate is just as subjected to the whims of the internet as we are. they have just as many trolls and terrible people as us, the difference being that they have a spotlight. because they have the spotlight, more radical elements are brought to light as well.
the death threats that were sent to Utah state and sarkeesian were definitely "related" to gamergate, but it should in no way reflect the goals and ideals of the entirety of gamergate.
Rowena in patch 5.0

Wow...sorry I asked lol.
On topic, I would love Rowena to turn into some kind of super influential privateer of some kind that has "connections" that you can take advantage of or something.
