I think it would be cool if WHM got haste or even reflect
I would like an AOE heal that can be cast 10 meters in front of the caster. Either a fixed heal or over time, doesn't matter
Edit: Just like the one in TERA
Reflect would be the deal, especially in Frontlines. :o
I'd personally like to see the addition of a new fairy. Perhaps a male fairy. Helios - the closely related entitiy to both Selene and Eos in Greek mythology; would be a very interesting summon for the new expansion. Wherein summoning him would be much harder than Selene or Eos, and maybe doing so halves your mp; as well as removing your aether stacks; also immediately killing the current fairy that you have summoned. In a way, he'd be some sort of grand summon that could be used for massive incoming damage: a little like Alexander in XI. Perhaps he could be a fairy that is more synergised with that of the SCH - Eos has healing capabilities, Selene has buffing capabilities, and Helios could be an extension of the mitigation abilities from the actual host - the SCH.
I just want to point out that the Scholar only summons a single fairy, named Lily. Lily is summoned as an aspect of either night or day (selene or eos). It's a single fairy though. We can deduce that any Summon III spell in the future for SCH (if it happens at all) will be another aspect of Lily herself, not a brand new male fairy. Also, the lore makes it impossible to get a 2nd fairy, as it was stated in the SCH quest line that each soul crystal has 1 fairy attached to it. Lily became yours after the Soul Crystal that belonged to Surito Carito fell into your hands.
WHM:
Trait: Enhanced Raise II (52): Increased HP/MP/TP recovery when raising.
Class: Resonance (54): Increase casting time of next healing or buffing spell to make it AoE. Applicable spells: Stoneskin, Regen, Cure, Cure II, Esuna.
Job: Tranquility (55): An emergency button to dump all enmity on a long recast or an inversed Provoke which raises/lowers your enmity to 1 below the highest on the table.
SCH:
Trait: Aetherdam IV (52): Allows the stacking of up to 4 Aetherflows. (good for SMN too)
Class: Convergence (54): A self-buff that increases either critical hit rate and/or determination either by a large amount for one spell or a meddium amount for a short period of time. Off GCD. (good for SMN too)
Job: Libra (55): Inverse of Eye for an Eye. Placed on enemy, players hitting enemy get a chance of reduced damage taken (DoT's can proc it as well). Can't stack with E4E but can be used before/after. Off GCD.
Basically the way I see it is WHM needs their AoE buff ability back from 1.20 (was known as Sacred Prism then, changed it to Resonance here because of PvP...) since if they're paired with a SCH, there's no reason for a SCH to help Stoneskin before the fight. Since they''re the AoE kings and queens of healing this gives them another potential boost to Esuna and MP management with an AoE Cure/Cure II every few minutes if needed. An enmity dump is important for them as well especially if you accidentally Regen before a pull and the tank doesn't remove it or adds pop when your Medica lands. To finish, Shroud of Saints just doesn't cut it for MP recovery and a beefier Raise would help MP in that case, especially if Sacred Prism could help MP management.
SCH on the other hand could use an oomph to their heals once in a while especially when paired with another SCH during big AoE damage. An Aetherflow stack will do wonders obviously. As Libra is absent from the game and is a SCH staple, this is a good way to implement it, especially with SCH's focus being on shields and reducing incoming damage. Sure it doesn't work the exact way it did in the series but in essense it was used then to find out how to deal more damage or take less damage and would be doing the latter here. Just imagine the SCH using it to show the team the enemy's strategy and those that hit the enemy and get the buff have understood the strategy and how to take less damage from it. A thing to keep in mind with SCH is that any Trait/Class skill we give them also has to be balanced with SMN.
These abilities are assuming a level cap increase to just 55 using levels based on the current trend. If the cap is raised to 60 we can expect another two traits at 56 and 60, class skill at 58 and job skill at 60. But that's a lot of abilities... they'll probably use that time to implement larger gaps in traits/class skills.
Would like to have a more supportish skill and a skill that works a bit different from the current ones. Maybe like a channeling skill that locks the healer for 1-7 seconds and every 2 seconds the healer unlocks skills for other players or gives stacks... like gives wrath to warriors, aetherflow to summoners/scholars, greased lightning to monks etc. And by locking I don't mean that they're forced to finish the skill, just that they can't move or the channelling will be canceled. The longer you channel, the longer the party members get the benefits of the buffs.
Or a skill with a long cooldown, like 5mins that gives a buff to every player in the party based on their class. Like for tanks it gives enmity buff or defence buff, to some DDs a crit buff or spell/skill speed buff and to healers an outgoing healing buff. ^^
Just something more interractive that pauses you to think if you should use it now and take the risk of healing less for a time (the channelling skill) or a panic sort of skill (the latter one with big cooldown) to aid the whole party.
