I like how so few actually followed the instructions for the shoot, and are simply posing next to a river for the camera. =p Should tell the audience what the instructions were so pictures are judged on that criteria instead of just "rivershots".

In what way does that mean that just posing next to a river is wrong? Doesn't say you should be ignoring the camera or doing anything specific.

Ahhhh instructions I got said to tell a story in a picture...not take a scenic river shot. Thats cool...apparently all told something similar but different resulting in some story telling and some scenic, when the judging is done on scenic by voters who do not know that we were given different criteria to abide by...awesome.
