I'm sorry but in NTM it's ALL ABOUT taking your weaknesses and MAKING IT WORK! Tyra says this multiple times!
If there was a cute/bubbly theme a lala would have an advantage over a Roe, but that's not gonna stop the Roe from trying!

No, I don't agree with that decision. Nothing against Aila but she had her arms crossed, incredibly serious, picture was a little blurry, and should've done a mid-chest shot like some of the other models to partially cover up the fact she has the shape and height of a child! Lala's can have great looking eyes, use those features to cover over the flaws! Look at Valintine's bikini picture, it was the moon and her eyes that set her apart from the rest, not the bikini!

So instead of going, "boohoo poor Lala's don't look good in bikini's, let's cut out that theme..." Let's act like judges and #fierce models, overcome our weaknesses and flaws and make it work okay?

It helps to actually create an artistic shot with the given subject. As much as I'd love to vote for Rukira (because Highlander love), the shot was just so… forward. But I am a little sad that they still haven't managed to get your last name correct… ._.

I am, however, glad to see the contestants aren't just posing in bikinis for everything. Nice to see some liberty taken with garment choices.

Really getting ready to participate in Cycle this coming August…

Unfortunately, due to the communities polarizing opinions of lalafel's in bikinis, it is the most fair decision to not force them to wear one. But actually, only 2 photoshoots from Cycle 1 will be repeated in Cycle 2, so the next Bikini shot will not happen til at least Cycle 3, if we get that far. ^^;

Rukira's last name is Michaels is it not?! Thats how it was spelt in the email I received with her pics....?
