The point he was making was that doubling the stat doesn't mean that the speed of your casting is halved. In fact, on my White Mage it works out at a very measly 15% casting speed and recast.Quote:

There you have it, a 15% speed boost. If you're really that stupid not to bother doing the maths for yourself then that's really your problem. Furthermore, unless you have a really low base spell speed, which you probably don't, there is no way in hell you're shaving a whole second off your recast speed. You probably didn't bother to look at the numbers after the decimal point.
So, to use your own words... don't pull numbers out of your ass without doing any real math. -

In the end, the skill is still disappointing. I would rather take a 30% increase in our casting speed than a 100% increase on our "Spell Speed" stat. That would be less random and better in the end, due to the fact that it's not limited on a stat.

Now since you don't seem to like math I figure I would post this before you come up with something to make yourself look foolish, the general consensus is that 10SS = 0.01 off your GCD, meaning that 1SS = 0.001, multiple that by 1000 and you get 1, a full second shaved off your GCD for all spells. As I stated before this is not a %, its a set number which is why your "raise" only gets around a second shaved off its casting time. So assuming you have around 500SS via gear when you use PoM you get almost a full second shaved off its casting and recast time, provided those numbers are 100% accurate.
