What MMO did you come from that as a healer, you pressed one hateless AoE cure that cost almost nothing mana-wise?

If you can not see how critical these changes were to balance then I am glad you are on strike

Just give it some time guys.
There will be a lot of fixes and tweaks made.

The only thing that made me sad was the GL nerf.
I'm loving the new Battle System.

i find it funny that op spent all this time writing that post trying to get support for his cause just to have the majority of people tell him they actually like the changes lol a lot of it came from fellow 50 conj too!

I always play as a nuker but still mad with the nerfing

I really like some of the things that were put into the patch, but I too feel like SE is trying to pigeon hole the CON class into WHM. The best part of the class system is the ability to "play" how you want. This is still true for solo content, however as I quickly learned last night that is not the case for the 45 instanced dungeon. I am not sure that it was needed to put curega/II into the game if they wanted to up the MP cost it would have been better to just do so if you were AOE healing/nuking/debuffing/buffing etc. It does appear that at least for the mage classes SE is trying to pigeon hole the mage classes into specific roles when in party setup.

so in a 8 man party, most people can still use cure and sacrivce as well as second wind. what about Stygian Spikes? Just because the OLD way is no longer valid for healing, doesn't mean that there is not a NEW way of using strategy to heal, even if you have not figured it out yet.

another thought I had was what if they come out with MP reduction cost or spell reduction buffs etc on new jobs and/or materia? PATIENCE mages PATIENCE

from the start of this game there was something wrong, THU can tank batter than a GLD and DMG better than a RNG. either make them this or that.
this is a step in the right direction, sure it needs more balance, but still in the right direction
