Why is BLM getting a buff?

I think I better start whining that the classes I play all need buffs, as apparently they give in to that. Also I want all stats on all my gear, and to never ever have to move in a fight. In fact, just let the fanfare play the second I enter the instance.

Talking about "They gonna looking into others jobs and adjust as well"

SMN here only need 1 thing, I wouldn't ask like "Hey please increase Pet dmg bullcrap or Hey please make Enkindle Potency increase to 1000 please or Hey please make ....... stronger bla bla bla"

Please give SMN MP buffs to 4000 and everything will be solved

MP 3000 is way too low compared to others caster jobs (Healer included)

Another 1000 MP is not gonna make SMN OP

I play a BLM I main BLM. I understand where the buff is coming from but other then fire starter being fixed I don't honestly thing BLM needs to be buffed. I am 9/10 the highest DPS in the party. Even in movement heavy fights ie Levi, Titan, Twin... I see most BLM's who don't play the job to the full potential of the class. Such as stoping their spells to use a firestarter, not using transpose or scathe when moving, little things like that. Is it just me that's doing this good? Or do other good BLM's honestly think we need a buff?

Three abilities. And yeah, BLM is a lot better at AoE, but MNK is serviceable. Trash is irrelevant to balance, because you shouldn't balance a game around burning a hard mode dungeon.

@Kittitacho: what DPS do you typically pull on Titan EX (no Echo) in a successful run, and on Twintania (no Echo)?

It is indeed a fair tradeoff as it stands now, isn't it? Being good for doing outleveled content 5 min faster but in turn not being viable in any actually progressing content and forever locked at iLvl 100.

I don't use a parse but a can't honestly answer. But last time I checked it was like 355-360 ish
But that was before I got any sold gear so I don't know what it is now

I agree with Firestarter fix being only big need BLMs need. Maybe making it able to stack to 2 or 3 to make us not lose around 25% of our procs? And maybe even being able to save them for when we need to move :P

Its painfully obvious who hasn't done t8 and 9 in this thread.
