ATMA is AWESOME, more Content like it please

It's funny how both sides state their side is the "majority" when no statistics have been shown to favor either side.

I hate it when people proclaim to have the majority of people on their side. Not only is that not proven, it shows an argument is weak because they need to pretend they have everyone on their side.

One might even say that a majority of the forums prefers to use assumed statistics!

+1, I also enjoyed the ATMA quest. For the first time in months, I've had a goal I can work on after capping tomes on reset day. Great!

So far I've finished Animus sword and shield and am 10/12 ATMA into my Bravura. My wifey also has her Artemis Bow Atma (8/9 books done), Thyrus Atma, and is 6/12 on her alts Artemis Bow Atma.
We'd likely still be on the ATMA stage too if we'd just spent the last 4 weeks crying on the OF over the drop rate...

Ps. As grinds go, farming 12 (TWELVE!!!) items with a 2% drop rate is so tame it's almost comical... Even more so when you have a chance at each one every 3-4 minutes.

I got all of La Noscea Atma's covered and working on the Atma of the Twins atm. Proably going to be a hell of a grind for that one.

This though, anyone who's gamed (JRPG) in the late 90's early 00's will know that a long grind is fundamental part of growth

I'd just like to add my voice and say that I also really enjoy the Zodiac weapon quests so far and I'm very glad they haven't been made any easier/faster.

I don't mind the atma grind. What I mind is the fact it was tacked onto the Fate system
Its not challenging to spam fates and hope lady luck smiles on you. If you had to farm X amount of Y to get one that'd be fine. You have a goal then. Not this bs rubbish they have at the moment with fates.

The issue about the ATMA quest is not about how grindy it is, or how much time it takes.

Its about how incredibly mindless, not challenging, horrible designed it is..

Take for example Satasha and Amdapoor City... both dungeons are 90% the same, except for the boss fights...
You can be killing a lvl 1 mob or a lvl 50 mob... and its exactly the same... Its not about how grindy it is... its about how incredible mindless and not fun the content is..

Just because it needs to take time, and be grindy dosent mean it cant be fun....
