How often do people actually clear Titan Extreme?

It's pretty easy to un gaol with 6, even 5 you can un gaol with the echo.

And are you nic picking? Dodging weights during super bombs is trival, and is only there to pick off healers that don't heal on stomps, and still not a big deal if a few die, Since they would have already dealt 50-70% of the bombs damage.

In any event I don't get why you're making titan ex harder then it really is.

I don't have to justify that I(we) do enough titan clears to make me barf. You'll just keep trolling with every new content that comes out, because things don't get easier.

It's not easy to break a gaol with only one DPS (since the other is in the gaol). You're making stuff up.

Because again, I've tried this fight every day for weeks and I can't find a group that can clear it? With echo, without echo, it doesn't matter. And again, I know the whole fight (both as a tank and DPS). I'm not saying I never slip up, but I'm normally one of the last men standing

And the truth comes out. So, you're just making stuff up and trying your best to overly exaggerate how easy this fight is because you're afraid posts like mine will force more nerfs. How very selfish of you. if you "do enough titan clears to make me barf", why do you care how easy they make it for the people still working on their first clear? Also, you really need to learn what "trolling" is.

Also, according to everyone I've spoken with, Ifrit Ex and Leviathan Ex are both easier than Titan Ex. So, things actually do seem to get easier.

Clearing this has definitely got more difficult sense 2.2. With most of the skilled players more worried about working on their animus, then doing Ex primals. I'm not sure why I keep attempting it myself. I've beaten titan a few times myself. But that was back when everyone was working on weekly clears. I joined 2 "weekly clears" groups last night, and neither one was a weekly clear group. I know that's no surprise, its usually how it goes. The truth of the matter now though, is sense there isn't many experienced people doing it, you'll pretty much need to find the group that looks like they have at least a shot at winning. I.E. gets to superbombs. And just stick with them, for the night. Sooner or later they will learn enough, and do good enough to win. It took me about 10 hrs of practice, from being a complete noob, to knowing the routine in a single day.Once I learned it, and had a group that also had grinded their faces off all day, we were able to beat it, and that was after sticking together for a couple runs(pre-echo). The only people that may say this fight isn't too bad, will be those that have groups of people they can depend on to do this on a regular basis. The rest of us, that know what we are doing, have to get lucky enough to find a group of people similarly skilled.

Not gonna lie, once I cleared this with my FC, I have never cleared it since.
Mostly because I've just not bothered to do it.
It took nearly 2 months of terrible PF parties and DF parties and once I joined a new FC, the good players there helped us clear it. (As in - nobody died to plumes or landslides.)

After this once in a while I go to try to help friends but I get irritated and start internally raging when I see them being hit by plumes and landslides way before we even kill the heart...and then my motivation kinda drops.

If you aren't clearing titan ex take a look at your group.

1. Is someone dying to plumes/bombs before heart phase?
2. Are you dying to plumes/bombs before or after heart phase?
3. Are you or others not staking and causing plumes to kill others?
4. Do you or others not stack and screw up the landslide bating?
5. Are people not standing in the right spot before upheavals?

If any of 1-5 checks off, you will not clear the fight. Now that I have titan out of my hair, there's 0 reason to ever do him again. Leviathan ex is a million times easier to learn and clear and gives higher level weapons. Why in the world would I torture myself with terrible titan ex groups ever again? That's probably what most people who cleared it are thinking too and only those who can't dodge/haven't cleared it are left.

HAHAHAHA heck no. Don't know here you're hearing that.

Sure Ifrit ex is pretty light weight on DPS, but it is in no way easier then scripted Titan ex that I can snore on. The Randomess of Tank stacks alone wipes groups. HP and damage does nothing if you don't have a half decent party that knows how to fight. (in fact echo makes it rough when you enrage ifrit by pushing him too fast)

And levi EX.... wtf earth are you living on. Levi EX is tight. TIGHT. If you lose 1 dps, you're screwed, histera is going to blow up a group, unless they are very veteran. And if you have 1 death , just one they are going to slide over the boat, and you're calling wipe, period. Only time you can go 7/8 in Levi is when he's on 10%, and you bum rush him.

There is no 7/8 in levi ex currently. No excuses you go in as a team you come out as a team. It's not compared to titan. If you think people kick in Titan EX PF, expect triple that in Levi EX.

Let's leave it at that, to you Titan EX is the holy grail, to us it's bread and butter. Spend more time in titan, before you mouth off. There's no shame in titan, but there is shame in believing titan is the end.

I've got all the weapons bar two, but my FC hasn't been because it's just too hit and miss. Some weeks we would one-shot it, some weeks you go like 4 wipes in a row and just think 'bleh, sod this.' There's definitely a latency issue, and while knowing the rotations does help immensly - it's not a fail-safe. I've never been in since the patch so haven't yet seen the echo effect.
It's definitely a tough call if you haven't got a decent group (of patient!) people you can practise with. Those of us who have a solid group they can go with should be grateful, because thia is clearly a very problematic fight if you don't have that.

You're implying that someone is just lucky enough to be on the opposite side of a body slam when they die (which really never happens except perhaps a tank, because it's always fought near the middle for healing reasons). No you're quite funny.

Without echo super bombs can be done with 6. After Echo, it's pretty easy. People were regularly carrying titan ex with 7/8 loooooong before echo.


Please, beat titan and get on with the world.

as sad as it sounds, ive had better groups in DF than anything I've ever gotten together in PF.. even when I put it at straight i90..
on a side note, ive still never beat it

What... am I reading..?

If you are implying that someone can predict the side Leviathan slams on.. and dies there.. on purpose.. I fear for humanities future. If they were psychic enough to predict that, they wouldn't have died in the first place.

I am not sure why people are arguing with Mei Mei.. he is right.. Titan EX is incredibly scripted and easy. Just yesterday we killed the superbomb with 2 DPS and a tank down. So umm.. ya you can do it with 6. We also carried a DPS all the way through that was knocked off since the first Landslide. Losing a DPS (and often 2) is not a big deal, sorry to burst bubbles.

I don't think people realize how really bad they are at the game. The DPS 'requirements' for most of this games encounters is pretty much a joke. My tank will often times out DPS most PF DDs.. and my DD usually doubles any PF DDs. This isn't a toot my own horn, it is putting things in perspective. Better yourself instead of just blaming everyone else and saying things aren't possible that we clearly accomplish.
