The ones listed in the millions sold very fast, so there was really no reason to undercut down to ~200k in a couple days. They would have kept selling, if people didn't feel the need to undercut by 500k+ at a time.

For what it's worth, next time you can just say "I don't understand economics" and we can all move on.

Regardless of whether you set your retainer to a Disciples of the Land class or a Disciples of War class you will be able to find these materials through ventures. :)

Thanks for the answer. Can you respond to the sheer amount of Gathering requirements for DoL retainers to do this level of Exploration though? Most players do not even have access to this level on their own characters, let alone having to spend a TON of gil on Materia melding and farming of the new Hats and Gathering Main hands in order to achieve these numbers, where we can basically hit the ilvl requirements for our DoW/M the second they hit 50 because of old Darklight and Mythologoy gear.

Since DOW and DOL explorations in same group I Wonder of the gathering g classes are too

they give you access to spirit bonding potions, fc buffs and the fact its pretty easy to spirit bond.... go get your own materia to meld... nt everything the game offers should be handed to you easily

I obtained my items using my Lv. 50 glad retainer in standard tank gear just to meet the i70 requirement. I added a comment and a screenshot for verification.

How in the fucking hell does someone have a retainer up to lvl 50 already? you have to almost stand at the bell with a macro running to keep them xping that fast ...

Wasn't that hard. 2of my retainers reached lvl 50 2days ago und the other 2 yesterday. Leveled up to lvl 20 with the first option (1mark for 1hour) and after that with the option for 2marks in 1hour. Was sending them around 6-8times a day only. With the second option (2marks for 1hour) you gain sometimes 4x the amount of exp of the other options. So every 2-3 ventures they have a lvl up.

So I can verify I have gotten Taffeta Cloth with my level 50 Lancer retainer, however...

5 times out of 6 he's just brought 3 HQ couerl meats. Really?

The odds of getting something useful are apparently pretty garbage, considering I have to iLvl 70+ him and wait 18 hours for him to bring me something I could get in 5 minutes :/

I really hope that eventually they do something to make there a guaranteed way of getting what you want (like the hunting ventures). There's no reason that appearance gear things should be this ridiculously hard to get.

My wife is about to have a 50 retainer and I'm getting close to having a 2nd one, so maybe with 3 retainers going out every day we can get 2 light steel plates in something like weeks?

I'm really pretty disappointed in the max level venture so far. It's nice I got a taffeta cloth, first on my server, but I'm kind of bummed about having to do something random that takes days to maybe get more.
