Feedback Regarding the Relic Upgrade Quest

Only 4? Does anyone know then if your Atma weapon upgrades to Animus after the 4th or do we do this whole quest line without any sort of upgrade? I was thinking initially we had to do all 9 before Atma upgraded to Animus. 4 Doesn't seem so bad. 6K myth seems far more manageable to obtain in the near future.

Remember that this is only to get the precursor...
I haven't seen anyone list what is required to complete one book yet. The challenges could be in there...

Grinding for myths is to get the books.

lawl , i was joking with ls mates about it :rolleyes: , was expecting to kill 50 tonberrys while raining on fireday but 12 fates sure is better way ....and 12k tomes? sure :rolleyes:

I'm REALLY sure nobody said "please, more FATEs, they're fun!". I don't mind a quest like "kill 500 ixalis/kobols/whatever", where i can see some kind of progress. But i don't want a stupid system that makes me wait for a fate to spawn, go in, end it and then "i have the item? *teleport*, i don't have the item? gaah... *mount*"

This is actually the best news I've heard in a while...

You have options on spending, and it will actually take time to get it.

Also, I don't like how everyone could get Relic so fast before. Zenith was a little more to spend, but still, the normal Relic shouldn't be that easy, and everyone shouldn't have 5 relics.....

This way you will actually focus all efforts on one job, and go for other weapons for your alts.

The 'challenge' is do certain leves, fates, trash mob and dungeon bosses kills. Nothing major, unless it actually includes T6+ Coil bosses.

From datamined screenshots on reddit the challenge in the books after grinding for them is....wait for it...

more grinding for incremental increases in stats. Like 2 str at a time.

Not having your MVP card wouldnt black list you from events. not having your fully upgraded relic will.

True, and it makes me sad, since i like to play all roles. Now i'm forced to pick one (my main, of course) to be "the very best". To get one Relic animus and then leviathan ex weapons on alts its fine, but.. what about gear? 13500 myth for this relic means 13500 less mith for your alts, and that means almost 3 full "af+1".

"You could buy 90 the gear with the new recipes". Yeah.... 3m each piece... i'll wait 6 months, when they'll be totally useless, thanks. "You can gear your craft and craft them for yourself".... i was willing to, but the requirements for 3 star recipes and craft/gathering gear are simply insane.... i wanted to improve all my craft/gathering classes. Now i guess i'won't improve none of my classes...
