Considering the lack of light/dark elements in this game (we merely have 'unaspected elemental damage'), I doubt he will be a normal primal... PROBABLY an Elder Primal, integral to the plotline (similar to Bahamut). I do not think summoners will ever have access to a Fenrir-Egi, mostly because of what I said regarding the elements... and also because we'll only get new Egis with the level cap increase, and there's already three elemental avatars we've yet to have access to. I could also see Fenrir being added as a FATE, although I hope he will have a stronger storyline than that.

That art looks the same as Fenrir from FF11. Fenfrir should be a summon and should be his original size just like Carbuncle was.

It would be my belief that Fenrir (along with Belial and Bahamut) would probably end up in 'The Great Labyrinth of Bahamut' - the 24-man RAID that is supposed to be AFTER The Binding Coil. Either that or Fenrir could end up on one of the next floors of The Crystal Tower.

This being said, I would absolutely love the idea of them adding him as a Mount Drop like the Nightmare.

Right. Wasn't sure about the name :) I greatly enjoyed Wings of The Goddess because of all the info it gave on these characters. I still remember the cutscene where Fenrir was summoned. Too bad I quit before the end of that expansion. Darn, it's been a long time...

fenrir was never in CT.

if he is going to be in game, he will either be a FATE, a elder primal rivaling bahamut (with his own story), or a dungeon boss.

They made Behemoth an enemy and a mount, so surely they can do it with Fenrir too!

I was just browsing the booklet/art book that came with my collectorś ediction and noticed that FENRIR is listed under the section "enemies" not under the section "primals" where odin, bahamut, ifrit, shiva, leviathan, tita, garuda and ramuh are listed...

So.. seems (and it is dissapointing) that Fenrir has been reduced to either

A) A FATE BOSS
B) A dungeon boss

How sad
