Can I have my full micro menu back please

I also prefer the old menu and would love to have the option to have it back.

Esc -> HUD Layout -> then select whatever HUD element you want to resize and press Ctrl+Home a few times to get the right size. :)

You guy's need to make it configurable eventually, please. You are not accounting for the sheer quantity of people running this game in 1080+. I for one, run this game at 2560X1440, I have more screen real estate than I know what to do with.

This was the issue in 1.0 then was fixed in 2.0 now you went backwards in 2.1?
Who asked for this change and why is there no option to keep it the other way?

With the PvP profile, party recruitment feature, housing menu, and commands added in 2.1, as well as the further increase of main commands in future updates, the original display of the main menu would increase to three rows, so we decided to modify the layout in this current patch. If it were the original 2 row horizontal layout, it wouldn’t fit on 1280x720 screens.

If this is the case then why not make it customizable? Let us choose up to two rows what Icons we want listed.

honestly i dont mind the new menu, the old one i thought had too many buttons. one thing i noticed is that the new menus and submenus now match the xmb menu that PS3 and controller users have.

That new menu is the only thing i really hate about the patch. ûu

either way, i guess its the ffxi'er in me, but i cant remember a time ive ever clicked one of those buttons, other than before i thought to set teleport and return to a keybind. if this is an argument over convenience, dont use the mouse to click the button and just use the keybind. (i dont use a controller so im not sure if controllers can use the cursor)

I still haven't figured out to have everything work the way it did for me in FFXI.

I'm playing on 1080p and that new micro menu is an absolute horror. I prefer 3 or even 4 rows than submenus any day. >_>

That's the minimum TV resolution recommended to play the PS3 version. However, considering even new games that come out today for PC still support 720, I don't think you can complain too much.
