It looks like low-level fishers will no longer be able to collect maps from high-level fishing holes. Oh, well!

. . . I just got a goatskin map from a level 40 node. That didn't use to happen, did it?

Goatskin is level 40, so yes, it is supposed to.
Perhaps a ninjafix if it didn't before.

Actually, no. Leather is 40.
Goatskin is 45.
Toadskin, Boarskin, and Piesteskin are divided among the 50's.

If a Goatskin was found in a level 40 fishing hole, something odd is afoot.

Ah, xivdb is putting me on the wrong foot here.
All the maps are posted as item level 40 there.

It was said new items will be available from maps post 2.2 in the patch notes
Anyone find out what these are?

Mariner Cloth from Boarskins and Dress Cloth from Piesteskins have turned up for me so far.
