Well that is perfectly understandable. If I had a brand and people were selling items online like this without a licensing agreement I would post up a C&D too.

However making them for personal use falls into a grey area.

I fully support this (liked and signed)! Although my brother just bought a 3D printer not that long ago... I would definitely buy an officially produced miniature of my character if SE actually went ahead with this! I'd even buy any FFXIV-themed statue or figurine for that matter! :D

Agreed, especially if they're made by Play Arts Kai.

I support this. I'd love to see my character as a 3D printed statue. =)

These were available in WoW. Yes. I want one!

Also! Definately NOT play arts! some of their painting quality is disasterous!
