SE won't ever go open source....
1: It would make it crazy easy for hackers to bot and find exploits
2: It would reveal just how bad some of this games code is.
3: Private Servers would open and cut into SE's profit margin HARD.

Or fix bug, where game crashes if intro video has started when game minimized.

I would ramp up the difficulty lvl of fates and have boss fate fights provide a little side item
I'd add Ishgard and bring back a certain Legatus
Abolish duty server as it is now and replace it with functional instance servers that let you talk to friends through tells, view who is/isn't online in your FC/LS/friends list, summon minions while in a dungeon, and invite friends to replace someone who leaves for whatever reason.
It would be the single greatest change this game could have.

I would change the market board to blind bidding, more like the AH on XI to help with some of the undercutting issues.
Turn off ARR and bring 1.23 back up.
