Skipping Lag, People Teleporting, 2-5 Second Delay, Fast-Forwarded

I live at the Philippines and I'm having this issue right now... It's been 3 days and I've been trying everything to figure out what went wrong.. checked for viruses, malware, called my ISP etc... Still lagging nonstop and I can't do anything about it.. Please help. ;_;

You may be getting caught up in the mess in California at the moment. There is a major corridor through southern California that is used for pulling traffic from the Pacific into the mainland.

Compound that with all the holiday retail traffic and increased streaming as more and more people cut off their Cable and Satellite TV packages (doing it myself in the New Year)... there are all kinds of problems with the US infrastructure. And they keep overselling markets too. US providers need to step up their game and beef up the networks in general.

Since the last maintenance Monday for the first time playing FFXIV I have been experiencing insane 5 sec lag spikes which occur every 20 seconds or so which is making the game unplayable.. I can forget doing any Raid's or duty finders.. It is even difficult to craft.. I have the best internet ever in my area.. My other online PC and PS4 games work fine with no issues.. I have Verizon FIOS 150/65 package which hella sick!! My Wife plays the game as well and she gets the same lag spikes on her PC so I'm thinking maybe its the communication between Verizon FIOS and S/E servers? Again this has only been an issue since the monday patch update..

Unfortunately I've been getting these too and they're rather annoying. My ISP is BT if anyone can relate.

I'm TWC in NC. I've been using WTFast for the past month at 27ms. Now that I have subbed WTFast my ping is 60+... Very frustrating.

I've been getting the same things here in MA, with Verizon. It's making the titian HM fight especially difficult. I got from nothing to 3 plumes instasploding on me in accelerated fasion. Could it be a side effect of the new position updating that they did?

I dont really notice it outside of dungeons, and the trials, especially.

I've always had problems with latency but it's seemed especially bad since 2.1

I can't clear Titan HM, either. I'm either off the map before I see a Landslide or somehow getting hit by two plumes at once when on my end I'm about 20 yards out of any of them.

Using Charter cable in Wisconsin. Nowhere near the SoCal mess.

I get the same problem when in most instances.

However instances that are forgiving if you get a moment of lag is acceptable.

Now with titan EM sometimes i am fine for 10mns and sometimes i get a few lag spikes at a crucial time and of course this fight is not forgiving.

Just hard to understand that in this day and age. Every mmo i have played including ffxi, have never given me any issues whatsoever but this game ?

I used WTFast I use the la servers but when the update/maint happen I starting lag when using WTFast. cancel my paid sub and removed from my laptop here . ive cox cable
