While we're on the subject of AK: Can ppl pls stop hiding behind the pillars on Anantaboga's catastrophe please?!! You're ruining the game for me omg!! exploiters........
On a more serious note though, dont give me bullshit about how hiding from catastrophe is working as intended when you can clearly survive the dmg from catastrophe in the first place so its not really needed to hide behind the pillar is it? If people shouldn't be climbing tree's then SE can remove them or fix it in the upcoming hotfix next week or make it known via posts in forums to everyone.
Perhaps some of the grind that comes with having to spam AK for the tomes will be alleviated with whatever dungeons they decide to add tomes too but we shall see.
you can only survive the first aoe janda.... it get stronger each time it's done.
lol this is ridiculous. This does not speed up the run 1 bit. You run slower because:
1. You have to position yourself perfectly
2. You lose dps on the summoner
3. People who aren't used to it will get thrown off and perform poorly.
It's just a crutch in parties who aren't good enough to dodge aoes the size of Texas. Or for healers with level 38 weapon (lol). They can't do it on demon wall though, so they'll wipe anyways.
It's flavor that is quite nice - and fun!
I think there are more important things they could be focusing on (and acknowledging). Like the lack of Client->Server verification. Or RMT spaming. Or server net code. Or the autowin boss fight. Or gold sellers. Or bots. Or teleport hack. Or toxic people in general (who seems to be the real issue here).
Yes, the golem glitch is an exploit (it's under accepted bugs after all) and to those that don't think it's serious? tell that to the people already banned for that and tell that to me after having to sit for two hours with customer service to get my account unsuspended despite having LEFT a party that wanted to do this, they went and did it, despite ME not doing it, my account got suspended. Not serious? Not big deal? yeah, think again. It's in the TOS contact that you really should read not to abuse these things, to think otherwise, you are either blind, or just wanting to see if you'll get the ban hammer.
I hope all of you who feel it's "not a big deal" get it, after all, I did think it was a big deal, didn't participate and still got dinged. Welcome to the world of exploits children.
The guy I answered to just stated that everything would have been fine (in a way that standing on the tree was not an exploitative or bug-using behaviour) if everyone just kept quiet about it. The issue still stands, doing something wrong doesn't turn into the right thing just because everyone keeps silent about it.
And to all the jokers that stood up to defend exploiting the game:
This was taken from today's patch notes. This makes it official, everyone who stood on that tree was actually using a bug and therefore exploiting. It really isn't that hard to tell if something isn't working as intended - just apply common sense.Quote:
An issue wherein players were able to fight monsters in the instanced dungeon “Amdapor Keep” without taking any damage.
I wouldn't take harassment from people forcing you to use an exploit/bug that Yoshi clearly states if you know about it and use it you are guilty and can be banned hammered.
Just say you wont do it and if they don't like it just sit afk until one of them leaves. This is why I go to AK with friends now.
