Judging by your healing numbers versus my WHM's healing numbers and your max HP I deduced you are at least i250+ item level (my i260 Medica II with DS is 860-930 regen while yours was 790-860 and my HP is only about 1k more than yours at 20k). So you are at least 35-40 item levels above the minimum for that dungeon since it is set to i210. The rest of your group based on HP seems the same at least i250+ (minus the WAR which I can deduce was around i240-i245 based on my WAR's current HP at i250)

If you actually want to do a test on how much healing this dungeon was TUNED for you have to go in with a full party of i210 (as in every single member is only i210). It is tuned with that as a possibility so without doing that then you don't really know the actual healing requirements. The healing requirements are low because everyone in your group is extremely over geared for it.

This isn't just a matter of being over-geared, my friends and I ran 2x blm, drk, pld xelphatol week 1 it was out. The limited clemencies the pld could cast (45 over course of whole dungeon) were enough for us to get through everything. considering clemency is roughly equivalent to 1.2 cures, that means in the 20 minutes it took us, a healer would have only had to cast 54 of their weakest single target spells. That's only 2.7 casts per minute.

Were you guys all item level 210? On week one you could be i240 from last patch; which is still 30 item levels above the minimum. It would still be over gearing in that case.

Why would you test going into these dungeons in gear that is 12 months old?

Taika was trying to show how little healing is required to clear content. The issue is that her party is over geared, skewing the results. To truly demonstrate how much downtime healers really have you would have to test the dungeons at the proper ilvl.

Well she did a test she said of how much healing is required. You can't really do that unless you go into it at the minimum item level SE designed the content for...otherwise like Vanille said the test is technically flawed because the results are from over gearing the content.

It's sort of like going into Alexander Midas A8S now at i260 and saying "this is so easy to heal I don't know why people had trouble with it" well yeah it was tuned for a lower item level than i260 so of course you had it easier.

I've been waiting for the ilvl argument. 1 person was at minimum (me), the other 3 at 240. as far as incoming damage, the difference between ilvl 210 and 270 is only about 2% so incoming damage is minimally effected. As far as out going heals, the difference between 210 and 240 is roughly 30%, so with that in mind, at min ilvl a healer would still only need to cast 3.5 of their smalles single target heal per minute to keep up.

The issue that Taika is showing is that the content is not gear properly for the playerbase. That is the point, she is vastly overgeared upon the first entry into the content. There is no reason why new dungeons should be designed around gear levels from 2+ major patches prior. That is the feedback.

It's not a 'test', it's a showcase or an example of how the design is flawed. The design of the content is to gear for 210 gear, when the patch prior people were receiving (quite easily) 240 gear and handed out 220 and 230 gear (even more easily).

The new dungeons should be designed around 240 (or at minimum 230) gear.

When gear is so accessible that its throwed after you then why bring it up at all?

I never said that they shouldn't be designed at higher item level. I actually agree with you. Just saying it wasn't what they tuned for so its not that the healing requirements are low; its that SE tuned it way too low. There is a difference.
