err Xmbei FF6 took me 20 hours to finish completely , 100 hours for a pre ps3 FF it's if you farm a lot and kill all the optionnal bosses and i'm sure it take as many hours for FF13 .

Might be the case but i remember some bosses in pre-ps3 ff's took 20-60 minutes to beat final boss but in 13 you have to beat him in under 10-15 minutes or auto doomed. Seriously was very anti climatic.

I don't see why taking an hour instead of 20 mn to kill a boss makes it more difficult , if it take 60 mn but you are never in danger it's quite easy .

And the long fight was due to the very long effect ( ex : sephiroth's supernova ) , i thought that FF13 was much difficult because you had to swap a lot , and no time to think .

The satisfaction of knowing you did something by yourself, with your own power, knowledge, and skill.

The same reason I think being able to uncover your maps instead of having them handed to you is a awesome idea. Everyone will have to explore the world themselves if they want to see it all on the map.

yeah that kind of things are good , and it also kills the exploration if you know where is everything .

I was actually looking forward to 2.0 before this little bit of news. Now? Not so much.

please bring the old animations back. this hacked up version is not looking good. i mean really, this is a final fantasy title. it has to be better than this in the animation department.
