Gardening - Harvesting

Okay I've been digging and cannot get a clear answer. If i want to get eggplant knight seeds which plants should I intercross? I did mandrake + wizard eggplant based on it saying you could get it that way and got nothing but more seeds for said plants. I'm not 100% sure on how to do this.

Just remember that the effects of specific soil only applies to the plant that you used it on. Soil from different plants doesn't affect any of the results for others.

All of the crosses added in 2.3 are not 100% - they have two possible seeds they can produce. You just got unlucky with yours.

So mandrake + eggplant was correct? *sigh* Oh well, that sucks.

There are a few possible combinations that can yield you an eggplant knight: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...=1#post2261769. Not all combinations are listed there though.

PSA: You can not obtain multiple Thavnairian onion seeds by using Shroud 3 in the cross.

I finally got it to hit today with Curiel (Shroud) x Glazenuts........ 18 Curiel root, 1 Thav seed :(

At least that question has been answered! /salute

So i just harvested some O'ghomoro Berry seeds that was next to both a Nymeia Lily and a Thavinarian Onion, not sure what it crossbred with but i got a Tomato King Seed.

I'm going to say it crossed with the Lily. All the snacks and Thav. Onions seem to behave like Krakkas, so if the snack did cross with the onion, you'd expect Gysahl Greens Seeds

I had a Valfruit planted with a Star Anise next to it with more Valfruit on the other side. Used intercrossing soil and got the EPK minion. Harvested the fruit and planted more and got another EPK minion from the Star Anise while it was still growing.

Just harvested broombush.

A = Almond HG = Halone Gerbera K = Krakka XA = Xelphatol Apple

1st planting........2nd planting
A K A......... A K A
HG V K ........ HG V K
A XA A ........ A K A

X apples were planted first going clockwise I originally planted garlic in the bottom right corner but pulled it out because I figured I messed that one up.

Krakkas planted twice got/getting Krakka roots. Halone , 2 krakka, and 1 almond left to mature.

Last almond yielded almonds and mandrake seeds

So starting from XA, Got apples replant K, skip A, skip HG, skip A, K roots/replant K, skip A, K roots/replant K, skip A
Round 2 K roots, Almonds/Syklis seeds, HG not ready, Almonds/Broombush seeds, K not ready, Almonds/Syklis seeds, K not ready, A not ready

Used grade 3 Thanalan since thats what I hoarded. If I want to loop the broombush would I plant it in grade 3 shroud and neighboring plants in Thanalan 3 of course?
