Eureka Pagos starts at level 20 so you have to finish leveling in Anemos before you can safely go into Pagos. I say safely because you can go in as low as 17 but the risks vs rewards is not worth it. Now I hate Pagos even more if it's "required" in order to access upcoming content. Am I really going to have to wait until the next expansion to avoid these grindfests? The train was beautiful because it didn't feel like a grind (to me at least) because it had a nice casual pace where screwing up didn't mean letting the team down.

I may do my challenge log in Anemos until I see what these coming adjustments bring. If Pagos remains a bore, I'll either wait until they nerf it into the ground once the next step of Eureka releases or yes, skip the SB relic entirely until 5.0. If there idea of quality content is Pagos, I'd rather not partake in it.

Pagos is terrible and I hope they make serious adjustments

Keep in mind the challenge log entries have level requirements to them, so you'll likely be unable to continue doing them after only a few weeks.

I liked the train personally. It made socializing easier. Now Building a party not being able to party with friend because there level is different then mind my to much.. ok sure I can try and make new friends. OOO WAIT ... people want to do chain 30 100 times without talking because they want to get in and get out.
No one wants to do fates anymore so Collecting the items you need for upgrade is a pain.

Pogos is broke. How is eureka going to work if someone joins the game in 2 months times yet wants to get the achivement. Zuzu solo isn't happening. And Pogo is wrose. This connent has no longevity thoughts in mind at all.

I've spent the whole day in Pagos.
Creating a Group to farm light. After 60 Griffons, 2 full 30 chains, I've got 2 lights.
Checkt another spot, Chimera this time. After 50 Chimera I've got 1 light.
We couldn't fight Dragons, other Groups were already there killing them.
Was hoping for Louhi to spawn. We tried it. But he didn't spawn the whole day. I was in Pagos from approximately 2 pm till 1 am in the morning.
Now, that's quite efficient, isn't it?
I wonder if SE is aware of the fact that we can lvl all jobs to lvl 70, and some do have all jobs at lvl 70. I do. And some of us have done the first step in eureka for more than 1 job.
I have the strong feeling that the Dev Team from FFXIV does not know what they are doing. Or even worse, they do know and just don't care. Players have saved them from a Disaster. Now they are cool.
Gone the times when their priority was, Player in FFXIV should have fun. Pagos is the right example.
"What? You found a way in eureka to have fun doing it?"
"How dare you? This wasn't the Idea of it. Now we gonna teach you lesson."
"Pagos will cure you from thinking that this Game let the Player find a way to enjoy a misrable content."
And here we are. The question is. For how long?

It's been 3 days since I've played XIV and the thought of having to continue running Pagos to get my relic just makes me stop from logging in. Friends message me saying they try to do bunny fate, spawn Louhi/Cassie all day and no luck with ANY of it.

And imo it fails at that because most casual players wont have the time to put into this. At least with old relics people could work on their own time on it and do other stuff next to that. Now everyone is forced to go into this which means that all the other content is out of their reach..and they need to get to it now otherwise they might fall back. With old relic you always had a way to progress, here if you dont find a team or are unlucky and die you will even be able to lose progress.

So the time needed for this does not feel casual at all.

On top of that the next patch will come out next month which will normally include better weapons..so its even useless in that point.

This seems a problem when people are actively working on Louhi but never see it spawn during even a long session. Previous relic type weapons were not gated by something seemingly outside of your control. Even pazuzu in anemos, it was tied to weather but the amount of enemies you needed to defeat beforehand was relatively low and in just one night window there was a very strong chance you could force the spawn. Louhi by comparison is much less reliable and may not pop even after long farming through multiple nights. Cassie is significantly harder/rare than that. Bunnies I got a dud prize a dozen times in a row but that's just my bad luck; people in my parties have received cards and haku materials so I just need to try more I guess...

This is the real problem. Casuals just can't do it, and the relic is supposed to be for casuals, yet the people with the advantage are the raiders already with pre-formed parties. I only have about 2 hours spare to take a break and play, cannot follow a particular schedule due to work, and I have found I can spend an hour or more of that time just trying to get a group together (they are certainly never the same level). I've only managed to get in and do that once this week. I don't actually mind how much time it needs, or how much of a "grind" it is, what I want it is the opportunity to actually get it done. It needs a DF, they did it with diadem, no reason to not have it as an option for this unless they would prefer all their casual players unsubscribing.
