Actual resurrection via yanking someone's soul out of the Lifestream has no documented successes anywhere in the established lore.

The thing is, he seemed sufficiently altered by the experiences that I feel its more than just clones with memory. As no other clones had that, none of them recalled death or where altered by death itself.

And considering the Amon in the tower itself didnt seem to even know he was a clone, along with amon/fandaniel seemingly being so loyal to the emperor, you think it would have come up at least once, but it never did. Hence why I see him as the original

I'm curious how cloning is supposed to work, considering how they've described souls working in-game. Could the allagan clone souls along with their bodies? If not, they should be lesser versions of their original selves. Those Doga and Unei void clones seem about right, but what of the rest?

Presumably the resurrected Xande had a different soul, but there have been a couple instances of pulling souls from the Lifestream.

W'nahja was pulled back from the lifestream during the level 50 Alchemist quest, though that didn't last very long. I suppose it's possible the Allagans/Amon could have found a way to make it stick somehow.

There was also Emet and Hythlo at the end of Endwalker. Maybe they were somewhere else, but I certainly got the impression they were in the lifestream before the grand finale.

Considering Ancient creations can get assigned souls, I don’t see why the clones can’t either and they’ve already established that memories and souls are separate.

Either way, the current idea of how the Lifestream works probably didn’t exist during ARR and I doubt they’ll come back to it.
