Yeah, it is noticeable, but I agree that it's not deal breaking. I went the other direction where I now no longer have that teensy tiny, little delay at the end of every ability before the next queued one kicks in. I certainly didn't have any issues completing content or weaving ogcd abilities in without clipping the next one.

I was getting 50ms before so this is a pretty big jump to the point I cannot play SMN/BRD effectively. I'm also having issues properly slidecasting on BLM :( It will be a pretty big adjustment for me and I may just drop BRD as my secondary class altogether.

It will be interesting to see if player performance in the east coast/europe overall goes down due to this.

Guess you should uninstall then?

You *CAN* double weave at 200+, but you will clip GCD and it will hurt your performance a bit. I'm not pulling anything out of my rear; people have said for the past few years that even 80+ makes double weaving frustrating because of gcd clipping. I have been on 40-50ms for the past few years, so I can't say exactly where that threshold is, but I can tell you that just dummy testing alone makes it feel clunky with gcd clipping, and on mch with rapidfire I can't ogcd at all without clipping into gcd. I didn't have that problem before, and I've played MCH since it was added to the game.

Maybe it won't hurt much after I get used to it and adjust accordingly, but it's still kind of silly to have better ping to EU servers when I live in New York. West coast players have complained about ping for years, so why flip the issue now?

If the aether ip address going around is correct then I'm sitting at an average 152 ping in central england. Not to shabby

My ogcds on bard are clipping into my gcds.. Yay... I miss my old ping.

Lol 100ms is unplayable what? I've been running with 160-180 from EU just fine and being able to clear and farm everything. Now I saw my ping jumped to 220 and it's scary but I can't jump the gun before I see how it feels in game. I'm on a NA server due to friends and I made lots of them there. I don't feel comfortable even thinking about moving. I'm upset, yes. But I stayed on a NA server cause the old ping was perfectly fine and no one expected such drastic change with the servers moving. I don't get you people tossing a fit over getting 100 and bellow even.

My ping went down to 38 with the move. It actually made the game a lot more responsive.

Results from 20 pings: Minimum = 101ms, Maximum = 233ms, Average = 114ms Oh boy! I can't wait to do EX trials now! Thank you Squeenix for screwing over the northeast by choosing California and not somewhere in the middle.
