Good gravy, don't tell Olivia that! She wrote a highly-acclaimed novella on the topic. (Soon to be released as an improvised PPV event featuring former cast members of Happy Days.) Unfortunately, it promotes precisely the playstyle that has led to the majority of the player base to not give a tinker's cuss about the mode.

Also... you overestimate the playerbase in ability unfortunately v_v

Are you still ragging on people for playing "bad jobs" in your frontlines matches on Aether?

With how grossly imbalanced they are in FL right now, I would always suggest people play something stronger.

Olivia, when people get assigned to your team, their priority is not to further increase your win-rate. If they play a job that you do not approve of, it's presumably because they enjoy playing that job. It's a game. The idea is to have fun.

I think what you meant to say but for some reason didn't, is that nobody is going to queue up if their exp isn't assured. There are already people who run premades all night over getting some lame achievements how much more so will people run premades all night if it's over exp. What it accomplishes is leveling the playing field which solves literally every issue people have with his mode. You can either continue to cater to the PVE'er who's levelling up his 11th class and has no idea what he's doing or cater to PVP'ers. Pick one.

1v1 would lead to more stomps and a LOT more toxicity and/or divide between players queuing for xp only and the rest, 1000%. Unless they remove chat like in cc. But even then, 1v1 unbalanced large scale is a recipe for disaster. There's a reason mmos with large scale pvp that works is tri-faction.

Ability not required when you're on the field. My "gameplay" goes like this.

Focus you. Follow you. Dismount when you dismount. Mash R until I lock on your target. Hit 4-1-2-3-4. (4-1-F1-2-3-4 if my LB is up.) Run after you. Mount when you mount. And so on.

You could teach a crow to do that. And since you're blocked it doesn't even require your call-outs.

I guess I could improvise (or simply leave, as I do sometimes), but I'm worried I'd get vote-kicked by the Discord mafia.

You can play what you want. Its not like I can make you do otherwise. I'll ask for more tanks and guardbreaks but it's not like I'm gonna yell at people in a match unless they're feeding or afk.

I take issue with people saying a job is good when it isn't. Be it on reddit or the fourms or discord I'm going to argue against what I see as misinformed takes when I see them.

It's pvp, I assume players would have more fun by getting kills, dying less, dealing a lot of damage and winning the match. If a different job will drastically effect that then it's worth suggesting.
