I actually switched from Miqo to Aura as an alternative bc I LOVED the tall bun buns - So the first catboy is already gone bc of male Viera, haha

I'm seeing some love for the androgyny and I totally agree that non-binary options should exist everywhere but my husband and I both felt that it's too difficult (limited) to lean more toward masculine features / angle, whereas most of them are traditionally femme/soft, almost child like.

Would be great if facial features like nose/mouth/tattoo/jaw shape options were universal. /pray

I really don't mind that face shape features as nose and jaw are tied to certain faces as much as THAT TATTOOS AND SCARS AND BEARDS ARE - I REALLY don't get it. It's time for a huge CC overhaul for the LONGEST time.

Agree I think for 7.0 they should really work to improve the current CC rather than adding new races.

I'm always amazed at how many different looks we all can come up with so many limitations but you are right. Enough with new races and finally expand on the existing ones! I took 2 major breaks since I started playing ARR back in the day and it's disappointing how nothing changed besides new hairstyles. Maybe we should open a mega thread like the Vierea/Hrothgar one lol

I think I'm mostly satisfied now.

I'm also looking at other hairstyles. There's so many good ones! At least those can be changed at the aesthetician.

The one other thing is I'll have to hear the battle voices before I fantasia. I really wish we could sample those before launch and without creating an alt. Currently, I'm choosing voice 11. Which voice did everyone else choose?

^ i do wish they'd let you sample combat noises before making your final choice. Sometimes you think you got a great voice and then you hear your combat grunts and they sound like female viera voice 4. I managed to luck out and pick one of the quietest voices in combat for my Miqo'te

Or at the very least add the voices to the aesthetician so you can just change it in-game without a fantasia

Well, i went through all of them and they can be pretty much summed up like so: 1 = reticent, 2-12 = over the top. Good thing reticent is what i'd choose regardless.

Posting my 3rd version since the benchmark became available lol... Started with Face 4 and I was happy, then some things about Face 4 started bugging me (puffy/baggy eyes mostly), my second attempt was Face 1 which I liked at the time, too. Messed around with the benchmark some more, and Face 4 grew on me again, and I just like more of the options it has available when compared to other faces (like the face tattoo). And as a bonus, my third attempt at a male Viera. The goal was to create someone who would bear a familial resemblance to the above—the different eye color aside, of course. On a related note, the exact same shade of eye color as Lily seems to be remarkably different on male Viera. It's like the eye is backlit by a light with the same color, or something.
