Holy crap lol, love them :D - never felt so connected to SE till Yoshida's team (they are all cool :D). Rep's are heavily tied to what the dev team allows so them too :)
Thanks Rein ^_^
Edit: yeah yeah I posted in your thread, come at me.. lol (-heads back to the other thread >.>)
I mentioned in the other thread that Famitsu has information on FFXIV (part of the media tour congregate). Unfortunately the only magazine to break release date at my nearest store is a motorcycle magazine intended for yankees. The usual 2ch resource guy has a couple of sentences on what is in the magazine.
3 cities are introduced with pictures, goes on to show the minimal difference between PS3 and PC clients, etc.

You do realize that your attempt to subvert the nature of how a forum actually works is a futile effort, right? And that your own posts are in effect, contributing to what you yourself deem a problem (the post gets bumped but no new info is in the post.)
Even if you've managed to steer 80% of discussion into an extraneous thread by now, if this thread goes on to the ARR forums, or a new thread is created, you're going to have to deal with an entirely new forum base which is going to have to be retaught, and never fully learn the lesson.
It would be great to establish a working solution for the transition to ARR. I suggest an entirely clean location for translations, with no extraneous discussion embedded. Reinheart can put these translations up on a blog. Pick your poison, Tumblr would work. And then update the forum post and tumblr simultaneously, the forum post providing a... forum for discussion, and the tumblr being the pure uninterrupted translations.
You could even tweet every time he posts something. That might be a more productive use of time than vigilante forum moderation. Though, I daresay, significantly less humorous to observe.
I only do because reinhart also request you guys to do so.
I would also like to be part of this conversation.
