Finally got going on my Vault gear \(^ ^)/

Part of me kinda wishes I had chosen the gator tail, but otherwise I've been quite happy with my choices since I started seeing the new gear on her. Even come to love the pincers.

Have to wait until payday Friday to buy another fantasia, but i think since i discovered that the Blue scales can be colored nicely with blush, i will suffer with the pincer horns until SE finally makes them changeable. Think this will be fantasia 11 for me just because of the horn issue, but i've lost count at this point without going back through my purchase history.

Lovely Au ra!
Just wanted to point out that Scale color also slightly changes with skintone as well! Its a very very small (almost hard to notice) change but it does work!

This is likely more a change in perception of color, as how you see a color will often alter depending on what colors it's next to.

I thought so too when I first read it, but then I tested it and Vejjiegirl is right. There is a very slight difference.
Sorry, I know the picture is very small, but this pic was taken in the benchmark at the same angle and lighting, just the one on the left is a very light skin tone and the other on the right is a very dark skin tone. It's slight, but the difference is there.

Yerr. The forums and the game seem completely different entities; barely see any manmeat posting here, yet plenty of girls. Meanwhile, inside the actual game, I'd argue that male Au Ra almost outnumber female ones in my experience. :p

I wish there were more sunlizards, though. I feel so lonely. :(

I always thought that Xaela Males will be the least popular due to the black sclera, so I'm surprised that Xaela are the more popular option of the two.

Yeah, it's odd, and male Raens are quite nice (though I'm a fan of cool colours), but Xaela are more popular while it seems to be the opposite for females.

Darker colours are more imposing, so it could be the image. There's also a bit of bias for stats, but the former is probably the real driving force.

For me, the black scales race were a bonus for my PLD (str/vit) so it was easy to pick which one to go form

Another swimsuit shot. Is it just me or do Au Ra have smaller breasts then Mi'qote. They seemed bigger when I was a Mi'qote.

I have both races color. They pretty much look the same to me cuz I can make them both looks almost the same ( I say almost cuz there s a few variations) but other than that for me is stats>looks cuz I do play pve and don't just RP or spend most of the time talking with friends. But that's my perspective :)

Wow, people will cry about anything on this forum.

My last day as an Au Ra. The non-separation of the horns and faces have finally gotten to me. I started the game as a Hyur then switched to Au Ra at the start of Heavensward because the lore was something i felt i could really get behind. However spending so much money on the constant fantasias because i'm never satisfied with the horns and face has left me with the decision to change race entirely until SE separates them.
