OMG... if that's the case.... I can handle English dialog, UI... I must try it out LOL Thank you for letting me know.
Now need to figure out how to avoid my wife saying "When did you get that game!?!?!!?!?!?"
I live in Norway, so I have the EU version with both games included. I'm still on the first game (around level 25 at the moment).
So both games are pretty much one game, just in two parts? I had a feeling when I started the game and it gave me two options; to either start the first game or the second one at lvl 35. Thought that was a bit weird :P
Like someone already pointed out, on the EU version you can choose both languages. I changed this quickly, as the English voice-overs were sped up, and the result was horrific. It's another game I still need to finish. I recently completed "Last Story", though, which I loved (and the English voice-overs were surprisingly good).Quote:
I'm still trying to get my hands on Xenoblade JP version... I have English version inside my drawer at work but don't have the courage to try it out.... I don't think I can handle English voice overs on JRPG's... 'yet'
I've ordered "Pandora's Tower" as well. Mistwalker <3
What the heck the bed are you guys are talking about? The English VA in Xenoblade was great.
Although that probably stems that as an American, I find British accents more enjoyable than my own.
But then again, the Japanese voice of Dunban is Captain Falcon's. So that's a definite plus.
You can switch the voices in the US/EU versions. The US version is just a port of the EU version.
I do have a bachelor degree in marketing but I don't think you need a degree to figure out that what I wrote is indeed true. Even if inviting inactive players rather than inviting only active playersin the Alpha isn't a marketing decision, you have to admit that it doesn't hurt to try to regain the community you have lost as early as possible with no monbey costs whatsover.
I'm impressed someone actually thought about it but then again, people seem to forget that players do have a life out of the game.
