Runtime Error

For it only ever happens when I'm teleporting or using the aethernet teleports near the main aetheryte in any of the 3 cities. I can trigger the runtime error anytime I teleport near any of them so it's something with their servers and the amount of people around. Will SE ever address this? Probably not.

I tried updating my NET Framework to version 4.5, and so far (played for almost 6 hours straight) I didn't get into that error anymore, but new problem comes up.

I'm stuck on loading screen everytime I change map :confused:

I can get a feel for when it is about to happen for me. NPCs start taking ages to load in, and then takes them a minute to do anything after I click on them. The sound starts cutting in and out and casting/combat animations lag up and don't follow through.

yep npc's dont load...sink in the ground... invisible walls in middle of no where...and BOOOOOOOM computer makes critical error or stop sound...alt tab to go to desktop....click on game...click close on the runtime error box..wait for game to close...post here when i feel like it... wait for my character to log out..relog in...hope to hell i havent died or that i am still in the area /instance i was in with the people i was playing with

I have just been getting this the past 2/3 days and it has literally made me stop playing as it happens within about 10 minutes of me logging on, Im able to move, summon my carbuncle and then head off to my quest point and BOOM my sound suddenly goes, my cursor turns into the normal arrow key and then it closes and it is getting on my wits end as I simply can not play the game at all as I never had the error before then.

Might just have to suck it up and fix my PS3 to play the game and restart it on there if they dont get this error and its only on PC..

I tried this, by updating from framework 4.0 to 4.5, but it actually made my game SLOWER, and my load screens got super long and my NPCs started taking forever to load all the time.

Needless to say, I went back to 4.0.

First error of the day. Preceded by an invisible wall in Central Thanalan. That is where I have the most r6025's.

Countless crashes due to this error today.

Happens to me almost every time I go back to Limsa Lominsa (usually to get to the inn to log out, meaning I have to log back in, get to the inn, then log out).

Why is there no response to a 21 page thread?

22 pages now.

just to compare with others. I get it using teleports of any kind... Loading screens into major cities (LL mostly)... and some fights in high pop areas during high traffic times. For me this started on the 19th of this month, but noticed not everyone has this issue.

Why is it that i log in, take two steps and crash back to the desktop.....someone from SE has to have a say on this

I don't know if I'm the only one suffering from this on PS3 because most people are commenting on how its happening on pc. but it only happens to me when I go into a cutscene or coming out of the cutscene. Everytime it happens it almost always results in me getting signed of psn. Everyone has told me its been my internet that's been doing this but this kinda thing only happens when I get the error 90k and nothing else in my house suffers from lack of internet. This error is getting my girlfriend to not even want to play because she doesn't want to have to start paying for something that is going to kick her off so frequently. This NEEDS to be fixed SE.

Just running through Upper La Noscea, not stuttering, not lagging, no other players on screen.... Runtime error crash.

I keep getting this every time I try and do the "Defending the Hive" FATE in Southern Shroud.

I get the error at random times. Sometimes between changing zones, sometimes while running, sometimes when i'm completely alone. There doesn't seem to be a pattern that i can detect.

Gotten this error 4 times in the last 4 hours. Really depressing for my first day playing this game.

Error after everything taking forever to load in, on the way to the markets in Ul'dah.

This is ridiculous how this issue and thread is getting ignored. It's completely disrespectful.

I've been getting this error every 2-4 hours randomly as well. Also been having the slow npc general load issues. Often missing out in fates because nothing will load in time. I have also fell through the floor and have had to teleport to get out. This game is fun and I really like it but the lack of support the bugs and technical issues that remain unattended is really pushing me to not renew my sub and just calling it quits.:(

I have to agree. I've had nothing but issues with this specific error happening constantly for me. I'm just glad to know I'm not the only one... It's making it so I don't want to keep playing though, and when I was really enjoying the game too...

I've been having very similar problems with my game. Since early access I'd log in and find PCs and NPCs would take minutes to load in, and running or walking through Limsa would make me fall through or get stuck in the floor. Also happened on a chocobo porter in Thanalan once and I fell through a bridge. I thought it was a lag issue until I saw this topic.

Fully updating Windows and updating my nvidia drivers to beta seemed to fix it, but half the time I start the game up now it takes an incredibly long time to load in characters, audio breaks and menus take a minute to appear after clicking on them. If I logged out sitting down when I log back in it's just stuck on a close up view of the stool or floor I'm sitting on. When it's broken like this it sometimes crashes. If I exit and restart the game a couple of times it's back to working perfectly.

Since I don't crash a lot I'm not sure if this is a separate issue, but the symptoms are the same anyways. I use Windows 7 64-bit.

Constant, seemingly random crashes.

i get the pop up saying you have a part ..commence or cancel...i get the runtime error and crash out 2 hrs of waiting to do something on my level 50..2 hrs of fishing ...just standing there think oh it would be nice to PLAY in a dungeon...2 hrs of thinking hmmm this is boring.....but i waited and waited...just to crash to an error you the developers know about,,that has been going on since P4 BETA...get with the program....fix these errors.... dont be like anet and wow and say they dont exist...tooo many people complaining about it...either fix it or start issuing refunds or free days

just crashed out agaim useing aethernet in new gridania to port to archers guild.. i had just crashed out a few minutes ago.. wtf

are you going to give us an answer SE or you going to brush it under the rug and hope we who are complaining about it will quit so you dont have to fix it?

look at it from our perspective.. yes square needs to deal with gold sellers and spam filters,,is that more important than say being in a dungeon and half your team vanishes due to runtime errors...and you either have to leveae dungeon and suffer 15minute wait to requeue..or wait in the dungeon 20-30 minutes for current duty finder to get you replacements...not an easy decision if you are running with friends or guildies..to boot and replace them..while they restart game and bake in the world queue

Fell straight through Limsa Lominsa and had to use teleport when I got stuck under terrain and inevitably errored out. C'mon Squeenix, please get this fixed already! We're almost a quarter of the way to 100 pages!

This also came out of the blue for me yesterday. Never had it before since I"ve been playing the game and even in Beta. All I was doing was running around gathering flax....

By the way, SE doesn't answer tech support questions, slog through all these posts and try and fine one....
