just checked my games page o SE website and FF14 realm reborn is there. My account is not active because not got code of any sort so cant update the patch or anything. Im worried as im hoping a code will come to activate my characters =(

way to circumvent the system, im not sure if its accepted by SE or sony. but should work to allow you to redeem.
create another use from your ps3 dashboard, set the location of that additional user to EU. log that user in. redeem the code. its now attached to your account. shoud be able to log your playing user and resume usual practices.
I know this works as in my group 2 out of 4 received a phase 3 beta code for EU. both did this step and played with out issues, we all play as ps3 NA
I have 'please wait for early access or launch of the game.' So seeing this I am good to go?

I'd just like to know why they didn't let us do all the registration stuff a month ago. What harm would it have been to have games registered early? It wouldn't be the mad rush trying to fix errors in 2 days, answer all the questions/concerns popping up etc.
I am a 1.0 player who has pre-ordered the PC version of ARR simply to gain early access - however, my 20 digit code is EU region locked...
I've been awaiting answers from Square via the old forums, email, twitter, and even waited on the phone for 3+ hrs... I have yet to hear some sort of response on how they are going to fix this issue...
So let's hear it square:
1) can I not even get into EA because I already have 1.0 on my account (and do not own a PS3)?
2) will I never get into EA because of your ridiculous region-coded 20-digit codes?
EDIT: Also, thank you for not being up to standards in the 21st century... A Cali number (that is damn near impossible to find) that OFTEN gives a busy tone when attempting to call.
This question is regarding the PS3 version, I had a concern while applying the Early Access to my account:
After reading all of the user agreements, I was taken to a window where it asked me to confirm which options I wished to add to my account, it looked something like this: "Option: Haribehrt Langdale, FINAL FANTASY XIV EARLY ACCESS PS3, Mog Cap, Cait Sith Minion"
The first option, Haribehrt Langdale, is the character I used during P4 when the 3102 bug happened for me. He's on a Japanese server(Typhoon, I believe), lvl 1, and was only logged in for 30 minutes, at most. I'm worried since this was the only character listed, and I was unable to switch to my main character(Naelo Saiph, on the Gilgamesh server) when applying the EA code, that this will be the only character I'm able to play during EA.
Can anyone confirm(preferably with an official source, but any confirmation is welcome) that I'll be able to select my main, Naelo Saiph when attempting to play on Saturday? I thought I had deleted Haribehrt Langdale, but apparently I hadn't. I'd hate to be stuck on a Japanese server, when all my friends are on Gilgamesh.
Any help, or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I got my 12 digit PS3 code from the preorder website.
Now the issue I have is my main PSN account is US based. However because I am currently living in Australia my preorder code is for EU. The 12 digit PSN code won't enter on my main US PSN account. But I do have a sub account for Australian content (DLC for games bought here, etc.)
If I apply the preorder code to my AU account, will that stuff anything up with me playing the game on my US account?

Hi, I made my account when I was living in the UK (now in US) and when I now try to put my 20 digit NA code in, it tells me my region is inapplicable for this code. I have tried changing everything I can to US and US English, but when I go back to the SE Account Management screen it still says I am in Europe.
It would also be fine if they would just send me a code for EU as I can still play on the NA servers with my friends.
I don't really know what to do...
what about Collector's Edition 1.0 players that are non legacy do we not get EA?

Based off these, I would say you must be legacy to get into the early access.
I am getting the Error 2: Code already in use. I bought the game from Green Man Gaming. I e-mailed GMG and they told me it was a legit code and that SE had to handle it.
What is my best option for fixing this before early access starts?
Ok so I got my early access code, but I am now very confused about which service account to attach it to. I played the open beta using my service account labelled "FFXIV 1" yet now that I have to pick which service account to attach me early access code to, "FFXIV 2" is the one that lists my FFXIV: ARR Collector's Edition... this cannot be good....
This is whats going on
The point that most people are making is that, this isn't occuring even after we link the accounts. I've launched the PS3 version, gone through the whole linking process, watched as the mog cap and cait sith minion was manually added to my 1.0 service account that included the Windows version, the windows beta, and the PS3 beta, and yet I still can only log into the Ps3 version and not the PC version. Using the same credentials for each version, I get a completely different message(wait until EA or no active service account).

As long as you pre-order, the PS3 version can be linked to your pre-existing FFXIV account to play early on the PC version.
This will also allow you to play on either the PS3 or PC with the same service account. However, you won't be able to log in with both at the same time. As long as this isn't a problem, you should be fine purchasing the PS3 version.

Anyone know information about pre-order items are they for all characters you have? Cause for me and noticed from other posts that when trying to link PS3 to your account it only list one character even if have more then one character.
So if you didn't register your early access code the launcher does indeed say not an active service account?
Is there any confirmation on this?
It's a collection of responses. People who are having trouble inputting their registeration codes are getting this error.
People who have recieved confirmations on entering their codes successfully, are reciving the unclickable play button (just like in the beta access)
Oh, sounded like he was asking if I bought a second preorder. I'm a 1.0 Collector's edition owner and preorded the normal ps3 version abouit a month ago since it was stated that you would need the ps3 version to get early access with 1.0 non legacy accounts. I was one of the many that got an european early access code that showed up invalid when I tried to enter it in the playstation store. Called gamestop today and explained the error and he gave me a new code that I registered for PC this time instead of Ps3. Now my early access is good to go on PC. Hope that clears all that up.
I just want two know when they are going to fix this EU code mess. I'm on PS3 and took me forever when they messed up last week to download the game and such. i don't feel like a repeat of last weekend.

If you are stuck with the wrong region preorder code, just find someone to swap with. A friend of mine did this and it's all sorted. SE has been completely worthless on this one for the last three days.

I'm HF's brother, and it took almost two hours of waiting for livechat - twice - to get it resolved. The first time was about 100 minutes of wait only to see "no agents are available - please try again later." The second finally resulted in contact, and after confirming the issue and br providing credentials to prove he's him, the TSR was able to issue a replacement early-access code. He should be good to go for EA on Saturday.
I have 1 EU psn code and 1 EU 18 digit code and I need 1 NA PC code.
Ok, now I can't even log in. I go to login and try to put my code in again, and it takes me to an Almost done page and asks for a nick, but I already have one.
So now my account nick is SilverMoon90000 instead of SilverMoon9000. Arrgh.
I am ... er WAS a diehard fan of Sqaure Enix since FF1 but they have done a lot to abuse that love. Your customer service leaves a lot of bad taste. Aside from the 3012 error that kept me from playing during the entire beta 4, you finally sent my pre order code LATE and IT DOESN'T WORK. Please communicate and be responsible for the problems. Stop creating website directions that lead to the wrong place too...that one is particularly annoying when trying to get help. Would love to see all these problems resolved...before I die of old age. I went to The preorder.na.finalfantasy.com logged in then typed the code on my reciept clicked for ps3.. BOOM error 1 there is a problem with ur code.. Tryed a few more times, BOOM ERROR 3 There was a probelm. Please try again later. Can somone pelase help me im like freaking out i didnt spend the extra money to not get my features nor a day late ;(.. when i went to ps store i hit redeem code like i asume im suppose to do then try to type in the code on my reciept from game stop and it stopped 4 letters/numbers off of being the full code off my reciept
